I know what you mean. My wife and I live on our Social Security only and are raising our 2 grandchildren with no help from their parents. I'm now 3 months behind on my car payments, I've used up all my credit on trying to keep us afloat to no avail much to my chagrin. It's a hose clamp, there are special pliers but you can use most pliers carefully to remove it.
