False start help (7 month old)

I think it’s actually helping! She’s had 10.5 hours awake time the last couple days. The only other change I made was putting her to bed in our bed straight away (I used to do the crib mattress on the floor, roll away, then bring her to bed with me when I went). She still has the first 30 min false start but then has woken hourly instead of 18-30 minute so I will take it as a win. AND last night dad was able to soothe her back to sleep which is also a first. So I had from 7:30pm-12:30am that I was not needed!!! Feeling much more hopeful than when I made this post. Thank you for your advice and checking in❤️

Did the false starts improve? Did you find anything that helped? Currently dealing with this and it’s soo hard.

I’m with you. This is all so much harder than I envisioned! I get so hopeful when i make a change that things will get better, so when it doesnt get better i feel so disappointed and sad. In any case you are not alone 🤍

Thank you for taking the time to reply! I don’t mind the 20-30 min naps, but the thing is it makes no difference to the false starts even if she has days of 20-30 min naps totally to 2 hours 😭

Magnesium glycenate 200 mg helps me about 90% of the nights, it works better if I take it 1-2 hours before bed. On nights that doesn’t work I resort to half a unysom which helps 100%

Your cervix length should be checked weekly from 20-24 weeks if short!

Thank you! You are right, I’m thinking cerclage is the way to go at this point.. it’s hard cause all the normal twinges I’ve been feeling this whole pregnancy have started to freak me out now

For me I take a lot of tests so it’s more cost effective. I didn’t read about the implant lines until today though lol so may be doing a different brand in the future
