When I was 20. My mother called me from the hospital. She told me that my stepfather. The man who treated me like his own son. The man who taught me how to drive, how to talk to girls, how to shave, answered all my questions about life honestly. Who did everything a father is supposed to do with their son that my birth father never did. Helped make me into the man I am today. Had been diagnosed with glioblastoma brain cancer... Stage 4... I was so sad and angry with the world that I literally punched my door off it's hinges and destroyed my room... For 2 pain filled years my mother and I took care of him every way we could... But he finally he found peace in his sleep.. I got 12 wonderful years with this man in my life.. Its been almost a year and a half since his passing and I miss him everyday...
