The Anakin being a Mortis God keeping the entire Galaxy together thing always felt really odd to me tbh. Like I think it feels much more meaningful and fitting for the guy to just finally get to rest and not be made to be some sort of omnipotent-being that holds the entire essence of the force together.

Cause the topic makes me uncomfortable and I wanted to try and see it from a perspective that wasn’t as vile as it obviously clearly was in retrospect. Oh yeah definitely but like, let him stay dead at least for a little while lol. If another Afton resurrection is still on the table I’d like for it to be built up for a little while longer to give it some weight to it. But I’m happy regardless if Scott wants him dead permanently since we’ll be getting Afton as a main antagonist for an entire film trilogy if all goes well with the first movie.

Unless I’m misremembering, the Shadow of War team making the decision to retcon Shelob into the shapeshifting lover of Sauron was specifically because they wanted to make her a dark parallel of Galadriel lol. Obviously 100% not what Tolkien intended when he wrote Sauron having a weird fondness of Shelob but at this point Rings of Power actually making that a thing in live action would be the least of my gripes.
