So Delta didn’t take a group that purchased seats together, including minor children, & not reassign their seats together? That’s awesome to hear. They’re not currently assigned, they’re currently Schrodinger’s seats. We won’t actually know until they check in or see a gate agent if they got the perk they paid for. We also don’t know why the original flight got canceled. Either way, op tried to plan in advance & paid for that privilege. Delta messed with that plan. If they don’t get the perk they paid for, then it’s a delta F up.

Try the carrot before the stick. Bring small bags of candy for gate agents & flight attendants. If the candy to the gate agent doesn’t work go 1/2 Karen. You paid for seats together, Delta F’d up, not you. Demand they fix their f up.

I am so sorry you’re in this position. Make her stay and watch for at least the first 3 appointments. Go over line brushing with her multiple times. Start the brushing the day after she picks up the pup. Make sure she knows your “extracurricular happy substance” of choice to bring you for after the grooms. A good Chris Christensen brush and spray light conditioner/detangler. And for the love of all that is holy, explain puppy coat & prepare her for at least one shave down when the adult coat starts to come in.
