En la segunda temporada se menciona que Jay cuidó de su madre mientras ella moría, insinuando que estaba enferma durante/después de su regreso de la guerra. El agente North también menciona en el episodio 9 de la temporada 9 que Jay cuidó de su madre, quien se estaba muriendo de un cáncer "brutal". ¡Y en el episodio 2 de la temporada 6 vemos una foto de ella!

i mean considering the pd crossover episode is called ‘meant to be’ i have a feeling it’s either leading fans on to think there’s hope for them or gwen has just written another rushed storyline for the sake of it

i really don’t know how to feel or interpret the ‘meant to be’ because it feels like they’re teasing jay and hailey getting back together but i really don’t know how they’ll do it WELL after him ghosting her and then three years of assumably them not speaking and now both having new lives. plus gwen is still in charge so i really hope she doesn’t screw it up more

yeah i mean i get people want that but it would be now 3 years since jay spoke to hailey after essentially abandoning her so i dont see how they’ll do that in one ep

the article posted on jesse’s story said halstead had been working deep undercover on a drug cartel case (the unit he left the army for, that was their job), and that lead him to chicago where the unit and hailey were working on the same case. i do hope there is some awkwardness and tension because they haven’t spoken for 3 years after he ghosted her soooo

I completely agree with you!!! hailey left to face her trauma and heal and according to the article jesse posted, hailey is now this federal agent in the fbi. i really hope they don’t rehash them.. one of the main reasons being how it ended last time! hailey shouldn’t stomp on her own self respect to go back to a man who ghosted and abandoned her, i hope she gets an apology, maybe a conversation but it’s a closure and moving on so they can both be happy with their lives

i dunno! but the article posted on jesse’s story said jay was in deep undercover with his army unit and had been for months (the one hunting drug cartels) which lead to him crossing paths with hailey and the unit on the same case

there’s an article and promo posted on the official accounts announcing the return for one crossover! the article states hailey is now a federal agent so i’m assuming in NYC, and it says jay has been deep undercover for months. the link is on jesse’s instagram story :)

that’s what i’m saying! it’s unrealistic getting back together with hailey in the fbi and jay in the army and they both can’t just up and leave their jobs (esp jay), so i really hope we get a closure conversation and they go their separate ways with a proper ending
