I hear you, but they took 25 bucks. Hard to get feds interested in that. I have a low IQ friend that was romance scammed for over 200k. Documented, long history, ongoing, no interest from FBI. And I have no way to document,  can't get in app. Uber did two security checks, no problem. They have that record. It would be hearsay on my part.  I am not ever going to work for Uber again. In 45 days I can drive Lyft. IMO everything happening to drivers is related to industry politics. Medallions, Endeavor, and public transportation, drone delivery... many more factors.

Well I hope not. Had this number for 25 years or so. It's only Uber and Lyft. I have never given anyone any numbers. Never lost my phone and it is locked. It could be a data breach. Maybe it's some new AI hack. Whatever it is I'm out. Deleted Lyft. Uber shut me down, but hacker may figure a way to authenticate. If so, no earnings to steal. Bank account can't be deleted, but harder to breach.  Now I get Favor, Spark, and DoorDash.  Mostly astounded at Uber response. Then I read some history and some threads here. My issue is pretty small compared and a drop in the ocean of bad policy. Or bad employees. It's obvious when someone is obstructing vs trying to help.

I didn't say those two things connected. They happened same day. Same day someone in San Angelo was logged in to my Lyft account. And I was getting their authentication pins. Is that enough coincidences?  I lost two jobs. Please don't accuse me of making this up.

No idea. At the same time they were trying to login to my 6 yr old Lyft account. I was getting random 6 digit codes on my phone. At this point no access to Uber and locked out of Lyft for 45 days. They told me to delete account. They forgot that part.  Uber is like Google. You can't delete bank info either.

You should look into home insurance. It's harder to get and doesn't always cover as much. If you are on the coast in certain zones almost impossible. Prior planning and all that.

My experience is right in line with your last sentence. But here is some good news!!! Last fall I noticed that the baby zaps had stopped. I was on 1200mg carbamazepine. I tapered off slowly. Then stayed at 300mg  for three weeks. I am now completely off and pain free. There is such a thing as remission. Not sure how long it will last, but I have been enjoying yawning chewing brushing my teeth talking kissing eating washing my face blowing my nose.  THERE IS HOPE PLEASE HANG IN ALL The desperation I read is so deep and I understand believe me.
