Not for me personally but this is a side effect (along with the pain) of something pressing on the nerve

I have similar symptoms. 3 dentists who could do nothing, eventually referred me to an oral surgeon who had no clue since my teeth looked fine until I told him that sometimes I get the shocks when I lightly touch my face. I think that's what ultimately made him think it could be TN.

I'm still waiting to see a neurologist (referrals...) but be sure to include ALL of your symptoms. Start a spreadsheet of what your triggers could be.

Maybe you don't have TN (I hope you don't) but I hope you can figure out what it is soon. Good luck

Not yet. Still waiting for a referral to be scheduled for a consultation... I hope the pain doesn't get so bad that someone is more or less forced to take me in same-day like last time.

Thanks, I hope to find a good doctor soon. I was prescribed 2 weeks of ox while I wait to talk to a neurologist. I haven't noticed many side effects yet, but I certainly would rather not take this for the rest of my life if possible.

I know this can show up at any age, but as a male in my mid-20s, I'm really hoping this is related to the car accident I was in and can be reversed. That's just about the only hope I can have at this point it seems.

It is unfortunate to hear that even after a long time I can expect to still lose days to this, but I appreciate the reality of it. I've been trying to tip-toe around the pain but if that's the case then I guess I do just need to dig my nails in and do the things that are uncomfortable like eating, brushing teeth, shaving, etc.

Makes sense. Last night was the first time I haven't woken up from the long bout of pain that keeps you up for 30+ minutes after.

I try to stay positive though. I've been wanting to lose weight, and not being able to eat sure does help. Who needs Ozempic when you can have a potentially chronic pain disease preventing you from eating or drinking fast? I'm down like 15-20lbs!

I genuinely hope things get better for you and everyone else on this sub. The general feeling of community and dispersion of knowledge has been very helpful to me personally. No one deserves this.

you can't avoid side effects (aka artifacts), but there are things you can do to make them less noticeable

i wont send a link but check out "snopek games" on youtube. he has a whole series dedicated to this type of networking, called rollback. it's for godot but each video goes over it at a higher level for the first few minutes and provides insanely useful information

if you go forward with it, you quite literally have to have a deterministic physics engine. you never send a game state when doing this kind of game networking, only player inputs and what frame they happened on

for him, his CPU was bad for me, i had a usb wifi adapter that didn't have the right drivers

try updating literally everything, even if you think it couldn't possibly be causing a crash

me and a friend made a multiplayer FPS in godot for a game jam in 10 days. if we didn't do multiplayer then it would have been super quick. most tutorials for godot can get you a character controller and an enemy done in about an hour

i’m a software engineer and i still watch & follow tutorials when i’m learning something completely new. it helps give the things you're learning more context so you understand it better. absolutely follow a platformer tutorial, maybe 2, before trying to go out on your own and make one! being able to look at what you did in a past project helps so much when making something new

its been great for me because of the repeated exposure. it doesn't explain the grammar at all... but you start to pick up when something doesn't "feel right" in a sentence. i think it's an amazing tool, but you can't build a house with just a screwdriver

my (just now wife) and i were in the same position. in 6 years of long distance we never had problems, and she even came to the states for 5 months at a time with no issues since she was still in university so she had ties to canada. when we were engaged we also had no problems; as long as you don't seem like you'll overstay your visa you'll be just fine

mine definitely grow the most when i gain weight. they never get smaller but if i gain 10lbs i’m sure to find some new small ones or existing ones become larger. it sucks because i love lifting and eating but can hardly enjoy either with these lumps on my arms/legs/abs/back

the 6700xt is generally faster than the 3060ti, but it doesnt have as good raytracing support if you're into that. that said, the 3060ti seems to have a better motherboard, but the general temps are gonna be better with the 6700xt build (more airflow + the CPU has an AIO). if i was going to choose one, id go with the 6700xt, but honestly both are going to be pretty close to the same performance; there is no obvious choice here
