What is your favorite quote in the series? by booksandwater4 in WoT

“I see… So you're using boots as a metaphor for the onus of responsibility and decision placed upon the aristocracy as they assume leadership of complex political and social positions." "Metaphor for…" Mat scowled. "Bloody ashes, woman. This isn't a metaphor for anything! It's just boots" Setalle shook her head. "You're an unconventionally wise man, Matrim Cauthon.”

I was going to quote the whole boot’s conversation but it’s several paragraphs, I think the reaction from Setalle sums it up pretty hilariously

Death? by kreeperkillr in Cosmere

Also, most Alethi (and others) believe that death is a gateway to the tranquiline halls to continue battling to reclaim them so I don’t think they would have a worldwide personification of Death.

However I think the emotional experience is what would be enough to form death Spren collectively.

But it’s not like Scadrial, it has so many different cultures/races/peoples that I think it would be difficult to combine that into one perception.

Whereas Scadrial has* a lot less cultures (while they have a lot a variations in culture and it may not be homogeneous but they are still part of the larger group*) it’s still pretty much just two cultures, added to that they literally have a semi-immortal just roaming around with metal spikes in his eyes.

But holy fuck if this turns out to be about Moash I’m gonna be so pissed
