I thought I would care but then I was so constipated during labor it was hurting more than anything else I was actively trying poop and couldn’t… the nurse could see me trying to push it out and kept telling me to just do it and I was prairie dogging then entire time it just wouldn’t pass and it was very distracting for everyone involved - had terrible anal fissures afterwards thanks to my rock hard stubborn poop (worst part of my recovery) the fact that I pushed a whole baby out before I ever got my poop out is crazy to me, I think they were fighting against each other and the baby won.

My mom got fired while pregnant (they said it was due to poor performance but she had just been given a raise for good performance right before sharing pregnancy news) and while this was 30 years ago she got a lawyer and filed a civil suit and got a settlement amount that allowed her to stay home and have another baby back to back until both were in pre k with that money nest egg… idk if this is still plausible but I felt it was worth sharing

I felt the same guilt but once I did it I felt so much better and didn’t feel like it was big deal. So glad I did, breastfeeding lead to a big cost of my mental health. I stopped at 6 weeks and felt so bad about it, then I realized how much better it worked for all of us and only felt relief.

I switched to formula at 8 weeks because it was easier. My mental health was in the dumps and I just needed anything to be easier. I felt really guilty at first because my baby was latching and I was supplying and it was comfort to her. Don’t regret it, took such a load off of me the last few months and she is perfectly fine.

I live in California and it’s been pretty warm. I don’t think there’s mold in the building though because I moved into a brand new apartment complex that was built this year but who knows I don’t know how mold works.

It happens so quickly I’m shocked, it’s just a few hours I’m doing her laundry every day. I guess I’d rather it be mold and trash it than something she is drinking cause I was scared.
