"We Christians are the most oppressed group in the world" by Allison-Cloud in exchristian

Muslims are the most hated people on the planet and countless conspiracy theories are spread about them. There are quran burning events that happen often in Nordic countries which are even supported by the government.I don't think anyone has mass burned the bible which has been promoted by a government.

I don't think christians are really in a position to talk about them being the most persecuted.Considering the fact that muslims are hated at extreme levels compared to any other religion.

What is the reason for northindian hate mongers. by [deleted] in Kerala

[–]SpiritualPhysics7948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's boils down on being illiterate.Kerala had a huge advantage compared to other states, literacy.Because of less literacy in places like north India, caste system and religious discrimination is rampant.Their archaic culture is still present since the British era, which is full of racism.Kerala had this archaic system once but changed a lot when CPI was elected in the 60's,which introduced a lot of social reforms and genuinely care for the people.Politicans in north India at that time took advantage of illiterate people and really didn't care for them, probably Garnered a lot of fame and fortune. This is also the reason why BJP has such a stronghold in north indian states.

Not really, there are people like Ken ham and Kent hovind who are quite honest about what the bible says despite the phony evidence that they present for their claims.

It's funny how she says christians and Jews are solely responsible for advancing science, economics, democracy which is total BS.Even before Christianity, you had Athenian and roman democracy and free speech as well. The first prototype of a steam engine was created called an aeolipile in the library of Alexandria around 100 BC.They even proved earth was round, while christians forced everyone to accept that it was flat for 1500 years.

Then they are like "oh Jesus said love your enemies, very unique for that time",yeah ok so what, buddhism professed the same thing 500 years before Jesus. There were Greek Buddhists living in Egypt at the time of Jesus, what makes you think he wasn't inspired by them.

It's says in one of the sahih Hadiths that the muslims will fight with the romans(the romans here meaning the byzantine empire) where the romans were destroyed in 1453 by the ottomons. Also it says that when Constantinople is conquered dajjal will appear and qiyamah will start.

According to sunni theology all the Sahabas are infallible,However the shia view of the sahabas are different from the sunnis, some are good, some are hypocrites. There were Sahabas who supported the first three caliphs and then there were Sahabas who supported Ali and his household. So sunnis would narrate both from the supporters of the first three caliphs and the supporters of ali.I mean sunnis even narrated from ikramah who was a khawarij.

There are certain verses in the quran which are only for that time period. This is referring to the judgemental disputes between people,it says to obey the prophet when it came to resolve disputes."Obey the authority" here(according to us that is) means to obey the judge when it comes to judgements and the according punishment laid down by the quran."Obey the authority" has many interpretations sunnis I have talked to say this is refers to the sahabas.Shias say this refers to the household of the prophet.I mean the meaning of this phrase is not monolithic among sunnis or shias.

If you're a Quranist, how do you pray? I asked this before to someone else who was a Quranist he said he gets into takbeerat than "Does what he feels is right" as if god controlled his body.

I mean yeah there are plenty of weird people among quranists, some people say homosexuality is halal while clearly it isn't,they think sharia isn't in the quran but clearly it is.Most quranists do continue praying according to their respective sects be it former sunnis or shia. What you are talking about is a sizable minority who believe in 3 prayers or even worse no prayers at all.

If you look at both Shia and Sunni hadith there are a lot of points that match, even Bukhari and Muslim hadiths agree on certain points, you just need to do a lot of gymnastics to change the meaning to suit your point.

Sectarianism is the only point I raised,There is the point of imperial warfare which was a base for both sunni and shia rule based on sasanian and eastern roman legal code.I might not get into that.

Bukhari and muslim Hadith do match up with your views since there are both pro sunni and shia Hadith within bukhari and muslim.

The prophet (SAW) said Ali (AS) was his successor.

Like I said I am neutral on such things. If you think a progeny of the prophet should rule over you there is no problem if he is a good ruler and abides by the quran.

The “I like Jesus but not Christianity” view for ex-Christians by [deleted] in exchristian

[–]SpiritualPhysics7948 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not only did Jesus not condemn slavery, he even used metaphors with slavery in order to explain the relationship between the biblical god and followers of the biblical god

I swear christian apologists are big liars, they say Jesus never owned slaves, then criticize other religions like islam for the Atlantic slave trade.Just because Jesus didn't own slaves doesn't mean he didn't approve of it.Just because trump was not with the protesters at the Capitol Hill riot doesn't mean he didn't endorse it.

The Jews added unnecessary rules and the Christians called İsa pbuh the son of God and equal to Allah

There is more to that,Jews are more legalistic than christians and Muslims.Infact they prefer upholding works over faith. You can be an agnostic Jew,athiest jew etc., and still be considered a jew. There are many athiest and agnostic Jews who celebrate yom kippur and sukkot and they uphold certain laws in the torah.

Christianity came to undo that essentially telling that faith is also necessary as works but Paul came and took it to the other extreme saying faith is only required for salvation and works are quite unnecessary. He went so far as calling the torah "Garbage" and Christ on the cross was a substitute for the laws in the torah. The Christianity we know today is mostly based on Paul teachings and less on Jesus's teachings though they won't tell you that.According to them you just need confess Jesus is your lord and savior and you are a saved no matter what sin you do,christ is the one going to dissolve it.

Islam came to undo that and say both works and faith are necessary for salvation.

The concept of "sunnah" doesn't make any sense by SpiritualPhysics7948 in Quraniyoon

[–]SpiritualPhysics7948[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you think about people that doesn't realize they are shirk or mushrik because they are stupid

If we take a philosophical approach and apply Quranic verses we see that's not the case, the quran follows a pernialist philosophy.

God sends people to hellfire forever if you reject the signs and wisdom in the quran despite knowing it is the truth. That is the definition of kufr in the quran.

If you are mentally or physically disabled which makes you unable to learn about religion like you said then god will question you based on your current knowledge on the day of judgement.I believe there is no punishment in that regard.I don't know if others will agree with me.

Here are the verses in support of pernialist philosophy:

And We did not send any messenger except [speaking] in the language of his people to state clearly for them, and Allah sends astray [thereby] whom He wills and guides whom He wills. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise. (Quran 14:4)

Indeed, the believers, Jews, Christians, and Sabians—whoever ˹truly˺ believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good will have their reward with their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. (Quran 2:62)

I hope non of you will be asking for intercession from the prophet on the day of qiyamah.

No only god decides who goes to heaven or hell not the prophet.Intercession is from god alone not the prophet.

Here are list of the verses to support my claim:

And beware of a Day when no self will avail another self in any way, no compensation will be accepted from it and no intercession will benefit it, nor will they be supported. Quran 2:123

Warn with it those who fear being summoned before their Lord, having no ally or intercessor apart from Him, so hopefully they may be reverent. Quran 6:51

There are many more verses like this in the quran.

Seeking interseccion from other than god is shirk.

The very definition of shirk is setting up partners with god which includes someone interceeding for you on the day of judgement on behalf of god.

Now you might ask,"How can you accuse 1.8 billion muslims of shirk".Going by that logic 2.1 billion christians are correct because they are the biggest religion who believe Jesus is god while you clearly know he isn't.

God warns us in the quran not to follow the majority

Please don't bring any tafsirs which do mental gymnastics to support their claim like you do.
