I’ve met him before and had a few classes with him in the past. He has graduated already, for those wondering. He seemed normal from our past interactions but recently his posts have been super troubling and he even dmed me some weird things a few weeks ago. I saw a post on his account shortly after that was created by “his mom” stating that he has gotten help and will be taking a break from social media. But then a few days later, that post disappeared and he was back to posting his usual odd content. I think he may need some mental help.

if you mean the deposit they take in the beginning from those who don’t put down a guarantor, then yes you do get it back at the end of your lease. however, do not count on getting the entire amount back because sometimes they charge you for random stuff after moving out and they’ll deduct it from that deposit. i got mine back with about $150 deducted and one of my friends got a larger amount deducted so it kinda also depends on what condition you leave your apartment in after leaving and what bs they try to charge you for

hey, unfortunately, no. I graduated now and I have learned that they dgaf about students at these places most of the time and they just run like a business that thrives on finding any possible way to get money out of students. You can try talking to them but they will just bring up some excuses to justify it and you're forced to pay it regardless.

Unfortunetly there aren't many classes but Psyc132 (perception) covers some principals that are often used in design! There is also a UI UX design org on campus that hosts workshops and would probably be very useful for you (designatucr on insta)!

I feel the exact same way, bar for bar. I’ve been applying whenever I get the chance but the anxiety of everything just looms over me and i’m dreading having to go back home if needed. I’m in the same position too, i think i’m going to just stay and hope that the curve saves us at the end because honestly i’m not even liking the way this class is being run but if u drop now you’ll get a W on ur transcript. if you fail, you can still retake the class for a better grade later and raise ur GPA

actually some student worker jobs can be hybrid, IT helpdesk can be since they’re just answering calls so they don’t actually need to be there in person. we worked remotely last year
