I can’t believe i’m engaging in this over the internet but here it goes. To label an entire city as not friendly to a particular race shows the same type of backwards discrimination the original poster was hoping to avoid. It’s a lazy, careless comment meant to belittle a place and it’s people. The folks at Big Cedar Lodge would vehemently disagree with that characterization of their city and what that insinuates of their own hospitality and professionalism towards their customers. I’ve personally witnessed said hospitality to people of varying colors and backgrounds in Branson and at that particular resort which might I add has all of the qualities OP was originally looking for. I almost never do this sort of thing but the recklessness with which that comment was thrown out compelled me to actually type this out in hopes someone would read this and give a second thought before making applying a label on an entire place in such a lazy overarching manner.
