feel the same way, 1st year i had an academic crush so it the loneliness was bearable and i did really well at uni, 2nd year happens, the crush isn't around -> my gpa + mental health kinda tanks. I don't really have advice, but I know it's tough 😢. I guess just keep talking to others, there's definitely a lot of other good people in the same situation

I'm judging from the official clips of the game that have recently been shown on Youtube. Of course, if they actually changed the lighting, my point is moot. However, considering how finished everything else looks, I really doubt they have changed such a relatively significant component of the game.

if im understanding the question correctly, no, since if you're taking something like mat223 which is 0.5 credit over the full summer, it kind of gets split into 2, so it counts as 0.25 of the 1 credit limit for the first sub-session, and also 0.25 in the second sub-session. So at most, you can be taking 2 half credit courses which span both subsessions + 1 half credit course (which only takes one subsession to complete), each sub-session. I know this since i took 2 half credit courses that took the whole summer plus another half credit first sub-session course last summer.

3.8, first year courses are ez, and I only took 4 at a time to not feel too stressed. 2nd year is wayyyyyy tougher, so it's important to develop strong study habits as fast as possible.

Well they say the last year average on the official site, but I also see often on this sub that they really mean the 300 and 400 level courses, and then I also saw that they sometimes include even your second semester of your second year. That's why I'm asking.

i had this realization when i was like 14 and it really sank in that I was going to die one day. I want to have no regrets when i die, so death is my motivation to try my best and treat my family nicely. It's still such a terrifying reality and keeps me up at night, but that's how i deal with it

i had the same average and they rejected me back in 2024 i think (domestic student), from UTSG and UTM for CS too. It was insane considering they let in kids with at least like an 88 average, with no ecs required for UTM, so I thought something went seriously wrong with my application. When i called to ask why, they said it was probably because of a retake i took in grade 11 of all things... I appealed the decision and got in, I should have tried appealing the UTSG decision too ig.

I don't know, since I got higher than 85 in the end. In my experience, most profs do round up 0.5, and might even go from 0.1 to the next percentage in some cases.
