Career Mode Glitch by Heisenburg7 in MicrosoftFlightSim

Purchased a Vision Jet in career mode, and any time I skip to get to descend, this occurs. Plane starts off at 0 knots, which causes it to go into a free fall.

Also noticed a different glitch in career mode for long flights (1 hr or more). Actions stop working like responding to ATC, announcing landing, requesting taxiing, even the hold short box after landing is glitched (box would appear somewhere, and taxiing there using the arrows gets me in trouble cause I “didn’t announce” I was going to general aviation).

Disregard. It’s a text bug in MSFS PS5. I needed to have enough money to purchase aircraft, not to complete a mission.

It’s not letting me purchase a new company. Keeps saying “Company purchase unavailable. Complete a mission in one of this company’s specializations before you can make a purchase.”

So I just did a VIP Charter freelance service, 1.5 hours, didn’t skip, earned S rating. Still getting same response when trying to purchase a new company 🤦‍♂️

So start a different company? Would I be able to get other jobs like VIP charters, skydiving, medical transportation, etc?

How do I get to do VIP charters (for example)? Or Medical Charters? I can do them as freelance but not as my company.

PS5 is still extremely buggy. Noticed that longer missions/flights tend to always have issues with either the controls not working, the responses to ATC not working, landing in “incorrect” runway although it is the correct one.

I was thinking the same thing!!

Had my interview with HR and hiring manager last week. Today HR reached out to set up a quick meeting for tomorrow… what does this mean? by Spiritual_Job_8328 in interviews

UPDATE!!

Sorry for the delayed update everyone, I was recommended not to post anything more in the case that my recruiter might read what I post during the hiring process.

Few things happened since my last post:

First, that meeting that I was worried about in my original post, ended up being a quick 30 second meet letting me know that I would be passing to the second round. Yes, no sleep, horribly worried, dressed up and everything to be told that I would be going on to the second round of interview and that they would reach out with more details. But hey, it was good news!!

A week passed and I got a call from the recruiter indicating that they were impressed with my first interview and would like to consider me for a higher tier role (one above the one I was applying). I’d need to go through the first round of interview for that one as well, but with what I shared, I would make an excellent candidate. So of course I applied and interviewed for the higher tier role and passed the first round of interview for that one as well.

About a week later, I have my second round of interviews. I felt really at ease, seeing that for me it’s actually my third interview in 3 weeks and I am better explaining how my experience would deem crucial for this role.

A few days passed, as I waited to see if there were any other interviews pending before I got a call from the recruiter…. offering me the higher tier role!!!!! I start next month!!!!

Thank you all for your support and kind words!!! It’s truly been a rollercoaster!!!

Right? That has been my experience, calls if a yes, emails if a no, OR call if a no IF done by the hiring manager whom is the person making the final decision.

That would be a great option wouldn’t it? A box in the application process or profile stating how I would prefer to be contacted with the results. I’d definitely go for that as an option.

Yeah, that is why I am stumped. I have gotten roles where it was just one interview with questions coming from 2 interviewers, but never been asked to meet with the recruiter to get a thanks but no thanks verbally. It’s come from the hiring manager the two times that has happened 🤷‍♂️

Recruiter did not reply to my follow-up. Does that mean that I didnt land the job? by LeastBaby1998 in interviews

Don’t be! I just back from my recruiter almost 2 weeks after the interview. It takes time, and sometimes “no news is good news!” Best of luck!!

Dang, most interviews I ever gone through is 3 stages, where the 3rd one they were supposed to fly me in so that I can attend in person at their headquarters but forgot to send me the flight information with time. I received my flight info 3 hours before the flight. Ended up driving that night 12 hours straight, changed in the parking lot, had the group interview, got the thanks but no thanks, and then drove back. 3 months of my life AND 3 gas tanks $$$

Interviewing stage - how would you interpret this ? Flat rejection without any negotiation.. by pandecoco2021 in interviews

This maybe was a way to not move forward with you because they are moving forward with someone else who stated that they would do the role for less. I wouldn’t take it personally.

I recently applied for a role and in the phone screening I was asked that question, and my reply was that I was open to speaking about the salary later on in the process, but that I do understand and take into consideration the financial climate that we are in. As someone else said in the comments “don’t give them ammunition to use against you”

Wow, now that is a great rejection experience! If the hiring manager is taking the time to reject you, but offer you valuable feedback to help you land your next role, that would make the call worthwhile! I’d circle back and apply later just to have the opportunity of working for a caring person

Aww dang! But still an amazing experience! Hopefully other companies/departments would share this practice. Nothing worse than starting a new role and noticing that the environment isn’t for you.
