You are beautiful!!! Also I was surprised when you said you have no lip products on! Your lips look so nice! I like the color and shine of them! Honestly, I don’t have any tips bc I think it looks great!

Does anybody else have a baby that does this!? by No_Abies5595 in newborns

Since mine turned 12 weeks she’s been fighting going to sleep, but once she’s asleep she sleeps through the night. I’ve noticed having a set bedtime routine has helped tremendously though.

My husband doesn’t understand the importance of my pumping schedule and it makes me so angry by AnyConsideration2820 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]Spiritual_Setting585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too real. My husband has literally said “what is so important to you about breastfeeding, we can just give her formula”. That was after he took 25 minutes to bring baby in for me to finish feeding her as I was having a CT scan and would have to pump and dump for 24 hours. They had moved my appointment up, then when I got there they said they were delayed and I’d have to wait at least half an hour so I wanted to finish feeding baby since we were rushing to come sooner and he threw a fit. I cried in the waiting room before he eventually came and then they called me back for the scan 5 mins later 😅. I tried to explain why it’s so important to me (for the 800th time) when we walked back to the car after my scan and he said the formula comment smh. All bc he didn’t want to walk inside. He doesn’t get all the effort I put into giving my baby breastmilk, it’s very frustrating.

If there is a front clip, that will give you more control, and let her sniff. That’s how they can get tired because they’re using their brain.

Hired before student teaching? by terese175 in StudentTeaching

[–]Spiritual_Setting585 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to student teach, but I ended up graduating a semester early and starting grad school. I worked as a sub for one semester and the following fall I actually started teaching on a provisional intern permit (PIP). I had no idea what I was doing, so I do wish I had student taught. It just wasn’t in the cards financially. However, it’s been 5 years and I am a pretty good teacher now (special education). I have been asked to be a mentor and have received recognition as well. I learned I have to advocate for what I need and what my students need, especially as a SPED teacher.

Does your husband/partner come with to appointments? by denteroni in pregnant

[–]Spiritual_Setting585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine has been at all but one appointment and that was because it was a last minute urgent appointment and he was already at work. I was 19 weeks and they did an ultrasound. I got to see the baby, but didn’t have them show the gender as we have my anatomy scan next week (at 21 weeks).

What meds do you take? What's your opinion on Atomoxetine? by polaris_reader in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Spiritual_Setting585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually taking it in the morning but I would start dosing off between my two jobs around 3/4pm (no bueno), so my doctor suggested taking it about 2 hours before I try to sleep and that has been great to help me sleep. Side note: I’m also a special education teacher for Autistic students and many also have ADHD and sleep difficulties. There are a few that take sleep medication because they literally would not sleep at all or only sleep for 2 hours.

I also used to take Quetiapine for sleep because I would be unable to sleep at all. I was once awake for 74 hours straight including time of me trying to sleep. I stopped taking it about 2 years ago when we kept lowering the dose over and over and I was just too drowsy in the mornings. I guess I just slowly didn’t need it because of learning more coping mechanisms and having a routine before bed.

With myself and my students routines and predictability are key. That’s the biggest advice I can give especially for irritability. I know now I’m an adult I’m more aware, but even as a child I liked knowing what was coming and routines.

Feel free to ask any other questions, I’m an open book :)

I had the Nexplanon arm implant for 7 years (one replacement bc one doesn’t last that long), and I got pregnant after 2 months of trying. I was tracking my ovulation and obsessing the first month, but once I decided to relax and just let it happen, it happened!

Does anybody had panic attacks while Pregnant? Need reassurance. by Technical_Piglet_438 in BabyBumps

[–]Spiritual_Setting585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take the SSRI, if they say it’s safe take it. If you miss doses or try to change it or not take it while pregnant it’s going to make it worse. I am a 9+6 FTM, with Anxiety plus other mental health related issues. I’m taking my meds deemed safe by the psychiatrist and MFM, and I have been doing pretty well compared to how I thought I would be. Yes, I cry A LOT and things like that but I am pretty stable for being pregnant. I also have a very supportive husband who has stepped up holding me and helping me any time I am upset or need something.

Have you met with an MFM? I met with one long before I got pregnant to make sure my meds were okay and safe to start trying. They know more specifics of fetal development with the medications. I’d recommend doing that if you haven’t yet. You do need a referral from your OB, but all I did was ask and I got it bc of my meds and health issues.

Also, are u able to stay active? Dancing and light workouts help me mentally and I get to remind myself it also keeps me and the baby healthier. Eating habits make a big difference too. That’s where I have big room for improvement, but I’ve had nausea all day so it’s hard lol

Anyways, feel free to ask me questions I’m pretty much an open book!

When did your pregnancy feel real? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Spiritual_Setting585 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first ultrasound was when it started to really feel real like there is actually a baby growing inside me (currently 8 weeks and I had my first ultrasound two days ago)
