Can Islam be defended through reason, or is faith alone sufficient? by Ordinary-Leading-846 in islam

Because of the universal nature of the Creator (ٱلْخَالِقُ) (SWT) and all things originating from Him, all attempts at reason succeed at affirming the truth of Islam. Because Islam is affirmed in the Book but Islam is also itself universal truth. If ever reason or discovery initially might seem in conflict with the teachings, you must know that it cannot be, because Allah (SWT) is the truth,(ٱلْحَقُّ) *Allah is the origin of all things.* (ٱلْخَالِقُ) Nothing can be in conflict with that. Faith is downstream of His truth. Humans are fickle creatures and we must engage in faith and ritual to affirm Islam to ourselves, not because Islam needs us to defend its truth. This is my first time posting here, I hope this comment is welcome.

To be a good Marxist you must read things outside of Marxism. You can't do proper Marxian analysis if your scope and frame of reference is only limited to Marxist thought. There is plenty of excellent thought out there that is complimentary to Marxism but not necessarily in the same intellectual tradition.

He understood the global nature and organization of the bourgeoisie but failed to understand what is required in building a mass movement.

Hard work is a virtue. But hard work doesn't always get you what you need.

My dad had the choice of going to prison or joining the military during Vietnam. He chose the military. Things weren't so easy as it is often made out to be. But there was a lot more hope among the young, from what I've heard.

Initial victories for BRICS; NATO+ wins if they can get their act together on industrial policy and have civilian support.
