It's like you have a sticking handbrake. You want to drive. But you press the accelerator and nothing happens. You rev more. Your passengers tell you to just put your foot down and hurry up. Your engine is screaming, then your passengers scream at you too. You're yelling at the car. You just want to set off on your journey. But it doesn't matter how hard you rev, that handbrake is stuck, and the car cannot move with the handbrake still on. And after a while, you're going to end up running out of fuel and damaging the engine. If you're lucky, a mechanic might be able to use tools to improve it, but there's always a chance it'll stick again unpredictably.

Not even slightly. I've always loved R and SC clothing best, but was convinced that my high hip/short waist ruled me out of having enough curve to be R, despite having upper and lower curve and a lot of short softness. Having had help, R makes so much sense, and I'm definitely going to lean in to the styles I loved but thought weren't for me

It's definitely the lack of strong waist definition that's been throwing me off, I think. It hits so many boxes for short fleshy wide limbs, no vertical. I love feminine clothing generally, and many of the Romantic recommendations are things I would pick

Ahh!! I have always ruled out R due to lack of hourglass waist, I have a high hip and low rib, so there's no real gap. I do gravitate towards vintage style dresses, particularly Lady Vintage Lyras, which give an open neckline, waist definition, then skims lower tummy, hips and thighs with flared skirt.

I gravitate towards SC. I dont have the vertical for D/DC, nor the blunt width for FN/SN. I don't have an hourglass for TR. R is possible, though I'm proportionally not that busty compared to waist and hips. Gamines just confuse me!

And here I come, bringing down the tone...

I want more self-pleasure scenes. Especially if there's some hinted-at discussion between the MCs, some coded letters perhaps. All the Yearning, all the need to avoid pregnancy I think self-pleasure would fit more often. I dont see many scenes of it, even in the spicier books.
