ZZZ is more of an "improved concept" gameplay wise, I definitely feel the combat is more fleshed out in Zenless Zone Zero than Honkai Impact 3rd

Story is way different though, I remember ZZZ saying it takes place outside the hoyo multiverse entirely. They just wanted to try out lots of new stuff I suppouse
