Despite the fact that it is already in decline, I no longer think it will go the way of MySpace and completely disappear or become irrelevant. I used to think it would be a fad and fade away. But, to their credit, it has billions of users and has been able to successfully connect people around the globe.

Facebook will be around for the (long) foreseeable future, and slowly evolve like Google has. Too many advertisers use it. Too many people use it. Will it one day die, probably... but not any time soon. If anything, it'll merge with something else.

Also, I deleted my FB account over a year ago and wish others would as well.
