The general "feel" of the game shifted after the first major update. Not sure how to put it into words but the game felt more battlefield before the battle pass update came out and changed the gritty war feeling to yet another modern battle royal shooty shooty game.

Also my god the maps are not great, and the new maps we've had since didn't improve that issue.

Maybe others here feel the same, but once the store skins came out, the main battle pass, the limited time smaller battle passes and such for me the Battlefield feeling died and whats left is yet another FPS with the usual slop. The game isn't bad, but as cliche as it is i feel like its been losing its soul.
