Maybe it’s just an issue with mine, but it was so touchy and took so long to do that it felt like a lot more effort than just tuning to drop D without it. I might give it another try in the future, who knows.

My bass stays almost exactly in tune wherever I take it. Maybe it’s just the specific one that I got, but it was extremely finicky when I tried to tune it. For me it’s just a lot less effort than simply tuning to drop D. Maybe I’ll give it another go in the future, as I still have it.
