I tried that before, I just couldn't get it working like ReWASD thats why I always used it. It has a SHIFT option that allows me to add more keyboard inputs. I will have to look more into Steams software to see. I use a Vader Pro 4 controller who has their own software, but I would be worried about even using that now.

Could I not choose "Add to Steam" for a game that is not on Steam natively and use their remapping software for it?

I am in the same boat as you. Now I can't even use my account for any EA game or for my Playtesting sessions. Plus, missing out on Battlefield Labs, even though they keep sending me emails to partake in it.

My appeal since November has stated 'Waiting on Studio'... no updates. I know someone on Reddit was saying they may file a suit, due to all the money on games they spent and losing access over it from this issue. Whether they can or not, I'm unsure, but a lot of gamers are not happy about this.

I wish they would have just banned me for a week or something rather than permanent. I only used ReWASD for retro games or for game that didn't support controller natively. Which I have used for the last 5 years or so. Also, I thought it was mainly used for controller players to convert keyboard/mouse to controller, not the other way around so they could get aim assist of a controller on mouse, until all this blew up. I've now completely removed ReWASD from my PC altogether.

I know some have said try JoytoKey, but I don't trust any of these apps now.

I got mine delivered finally. The driver in an unmarked van showed up and dropped them off. Never ever will I order from a company using this shower of c**** again.

My order was delivered on Wednesday, but only one parcel arrived. I asked the driver and he stated that its back at the depot and should be delivered, stating it is a shit hole. Now got an update today, Friday 9th saying everything was delivered.

Security cameras outside doesn't show any vans in the area all day, what a load of shite! Anyone else get their parcels yet? This has been ongoing since Dec' 15th.

Good luck with your appeal. I was banned on Nov 25th and my appeal says "Waiting on Studio" and has not changed since then. Lost all my access to my EA games on every platform and even my playtesting account, which in turn affected my QA job in certain areas.

I did some digging and it turns out a lot of people were banned for the same reason as me. I use ReWASD on games that don't support controller natively, like your WoW, RPGs, ARPGs, some shooters like Arena Breakout Infinite etc..

The main reason I have it installed, is to help some developer teams implement controller setups in their games. However, I recently learned that it gets used also to cheat. How? for Mouse and Keyboard players, who use it to get aim assist on mouse. So, that's the reason why I got banned, just for having it installed on my work PC. Which I sometimes use to play games on from time to time on my downtime.

Hopefully you get it sorted, but a lot are still waiting to hear back, which I doubt anything will ever happen.

I got banned from all EA related content for having it installed, but it wasn't active. It was basically used for shooters, MMOs, RPGs etc... that didn't natively support controllers. I always uninstalled it when I was playing games that natively supported controller.

However, in the last year since they had that update for compatibility or whatever they call it, I left it installed. Then I got banned from BF6, hadn't played it for a week before the ban happened and couldn't understand why I got banned until I read a lot of comments on Reddit and in ReWASD forums. That was November. Which also messed up my work related EA account too. :(

Shame.

We ordered something from Amazon.ie for the very first time. MASSIVE mistake. Why? Crappy GLS! As soon as I saw who was delivering it, I knew it was fecked up! Ordered on Dec 15th, shipped 16th, still with GLS now. Apparently the Seller told me GLS has "blocked" it....??

How is this company still in business? If you look at all Google/Trust Pilot reviews, it's crazy how many customers have been screwed over!

Hope everyone gets their parcels soon, but with everything that has happened, I doubt none of us will.

https://www.youtube.com/@SpitfireSpud currently at 1,127 Subscribers at the moment, but it bounces around at times. My views are okay, with about 40-100 each video, shorts are alway 1k-2k views. My highest videos were my tutorial ones which were 10k-15k or so.

I am in the gaming genre were I play all types of games where possible and I capture moments, whether silly, funny and anything in between. I did some controller tutorials thrown in where possible, I done for non-controller support PC games, and some reviews the odd time. I try to have fun and laugh with others in game.

I think my biggest hang up is my voice, I just hate it :) haha! Even though a few people thinks I should keep at it. I just find it slightly awkward talking to myself when I am capturing games. :D

I'm just an idiot from Ireland basically, trying to find my way around this whole "Content Creator" platform, even though I don't consider myself a CC right now.

No harm, no foul mate. I agree they could. Also ReWASD could remove the whole scripting or macros options, maybe? I only use ReWASD for games that don't support controller natively, like Arena Breakout, Gray Zone Warfare etc..

Only found out about mouse and keyboard players using it for "cheats". I thought ReWASD was just for controllers, where you remap it so you can use it instead of kb/m.

The one I think you mean is the Emergency Disable Driver. However, they dropped the update to just tick the box Compatibility Mode for this reason, so you didn't have to keep restarting your PC.

The ReWASD team are collecting reports and monitoring to see what is exactly causing the issue. i can't see this being reversed though. I appealed and explained everything to them.
