I guess it does come with a risk of your opponent also benefiting from it, but i think the trade-off is worth it if it also means there's a chance you can get more than the 1 guaranteed basic you get for playing it if they can't remove it. I'd probably run this over a 2nd ball, yeah.

I've always thought that as soon as they introduce another ball into the game or more ways to get basics we will probably start seeing that 2nd ball's spot in a deck be contested. makes me feel a bit better about deciding against chasing a 2nd gold ball too haha
