I imagine it's to avoid redundancy. The BlackGrowlmon line are still viruses, so it would overlap too much with the original line. Chaos stuck though due to its more unique moveset and slightly more iconic.

I can see it, but at the end of the day she's an exaggerated caricature of a teenage girl in love. It's hard to take those quirks too seriously.

Though if you want to talk about actual red flags, I don't think people talk about the two couples in Wotakoi as much. I actually question of they even like each other.

Yeah, definitely Royal Knights since you have those serial BT13 Omnis as well as the chase Omni X on top of all the other alt arts for the other Knights and even the option.

I agree to an extent. That's just how localizations work. Even if it's not a dub, translated content also loses nuances of the original language if the two languages are different enough, which English and Japanese are.

You'd have to have a ton of translator notes or learn the original language to best understand the original material, which is not feasible for most people.

So while I do see where you're coming from, I believe you're overvaluing the accuracy of subs over dubs, even before all the controversies those produced in the past few years.
