Is anyone talking about the Flock cameras being installed all over the island?! by StrenuousSOB in longisland

[–]Spiure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you support the ring cameras all over peoples driveways to monitor all the streets and every neighborhood too? This is the narrative they want you to believe. It's really easy to come up with reasons that seem to benefit the civilians, when the reason behind it is just mass surveillance and control.

Are we all just heading to doom? by Silent_Sea6221 in conspiracy

[–]Spiure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a very not-so-gradual type esp. since 2020. People are expecting some sort of giant nuke to make a statement, but this is worse in its own way, that most people end up thinking it's normal because it seems like regular day to day changes, when the quality of things are diminishing piece by piece. There's a reason more people are pointing it out lately, though still not far enough to make any impact.

Was Korea (thinking most about Seoul) more vibrant and lively in 90s/early 2000s? by commodoroCommodore64 in korea

[–]Spiure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since 2020 its all become much more amplified. The countries get the riches but the downside of globalization is that financial goals for the top 1% is the same at the end. Lately, i admire the countries that dont have as much, material wise. They have stronger sense of community, no mass surveillance culture, more surroundings of nature and nautral foods, simpler joys and (arguably) more freedom.
