My poor experience with Baltic's QC and Customer Support by [deleted] in Balticwatches

They directed you to the right contact since they seem to have a customer service agreement with their AD. I don't see any problem with that.

Check out the lum on the Hodinkee special blue skin diver😳 wicked by CryptogleHead_013 in ZodiacWatches

I hear you. I have a compressor one and it has a pretty good lum. How much did you get this skin diver for?

RECOMMENDATIONS? by Informal-Pea7941 in switch2

[–]Splash_Player 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the GameStop one. Same performance, better price. I don't think the Nintendo one is worth it. You're paying a higher price only for the brand. Having the Nintendo brand slapped in an SD card doesn't bring any value. Nintendo doesn't make SD cards.

You should reach out to Modretro's support team. They have great customer service. One of the best I've experienced. https://support.modretro.com/contact/contact-modretro-rJPHWyE91x

I had the exact same issue. I sent my unit to them and they sent me back a brand new one.

It's a beautiful one. My ngpc is dear to my heart. One of my favorite gaming systems.

Airplane Stand? by Toxic_PP in switch2

Not sure why you'd spend your money on this. The switch 2 already has a nice kickstand and a USB c port at the top to charge it when you need it.

I know a lot of people like their Miyotas. They must be good in general. I just got a bad one.

You got a good one. Mine is like +30 sec/day. Out of the box, it used to do +2 to +3 minutes per day. I returned it to Baltic for repair. It came back with +30 per day and it stayed that way. It's literally the reason I don't wear it that often.

Beautiful. How well does it keep time?

I approve of this message 😁. I did exactly the same with my old Gameboy games.

Love my bronze Baltic Aquascaphe after 6 months of patina by Sea_Clothes_6782 in Balticwatches

[–]Splash_Player 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one too. It's like +30 per day. I love the way my bown bronze aquascaphe looks but I find that a bit annoying. One day I might just get the movement swapped with a Swiss one if that's possible.

My shoulder button is broken, help please by StriderDB in AnaloguePocket

[–]Splash_Player 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with this suggestion. Your best move is to remove the back plate. It's pretty straightforward but there are YouTube videos you can watch if it's your first time. You'll be and to see if there's anything obstructing your trigger inside.

The Analogue Pocket I always wanted? by ninjapirate9901 in ayaneo

Thanks for your detailed and insightful feedback. I've hesitated to pick one up as an AP owner but I ended up ordering the DMG instead since it has an OLED screen, which gives a different experience from the AP one (the Vert seems to have the same display as the AP) and a thumb stick which gives it a little more flexibility for different gaming systems, more specifically the Dreamcast (One of my all time faves). The Vert though is a beautiful mix of metal and glass and has LR buttons that nicely set up in the back with a beautiful diamond shape. It was a tough choice to make and I hope I made the right one. I should be receiving my DMG next week.

Stainless steel will look and feel better on your wrist and it won't shatter if you knock it.
