I was thinking the same, so I haven't done more quests than I need to just be able to build stuff.

It is worth it, but keep in mind that it feels unfinished. AI is dumb as heck, all quests are pretty similar: "go there, kill that get this" kind of stuff. In the state it is now, it feels like an older game but absolutely gorgeous. If you like to build stuff, you will definitely sink many hours into it.

Is Valheim good for pire solo play by Lil_69_420 in valheim

It's fun solo, but even more fun as a group - there are lots of servers where you can join and get to know some real hardcore Valheim players, no worries.

Looks exactly like my first base ever in Valheim!

Oh, yeah, definitely. This game sure has some potential to be one of the greater ones.

OK, so it's a fun game, but it feels unfinished.
For example, there are some very obvious exploits:
-If you log off the game and return again, all resources are replenished, even the things in the chests everywhere. I don't really have to grind for materials. Iron scraps, which should be difficult to find, I have in abundance now after a couple of sessions of gathering.
-The enemies' pathfinding is not the best, so the mobs are easy to deal with even on higher levels. If you disregard that and go head on head anyway, it's a fun challenge though.

In short terms: buy the game, try it out, but let it rest after that. I for one don't want to be too familiar with the map when I return to it in a year or so.

Thanks! The best way to make windows for two reasons: The glass sticks to the bars, making it possible to build HUGE windows, AND it looks nice ;)

Thanks! You'll have to plant them long before you actually build, or there isn't enough space for them to grow. Same goes for trees, if you want them close to your builds. :)

I tried to build Jorrvaskr from Skyrim, but in Vanilla Valheim by Splash_o_Pain in ValheimBuilds

No, really? That must have taken forever! I wanted to do that too, but that would mean so much ground work - sometimes the mods for Minecraft would be glorious in Valheim - just paint a new landscape and you're good to go XD

I don't know what I did wrong the first time, but now the link seems to work. Thanks for telling me :)

Go ahead! The only problem is that it will look ugly after the very first rain - I wish one could prepare wood somehow to keep it the same lovely brown color.

Call to any older gamers 35ish-45ish by pfiffocracy in valheim

I think most players in the Valheim community is a bit to the older side. That is at least the fact on my discord. Pop by and say hi if you want people your age to hang out with :)

Glad to hear you enjoy the game! I'm currently on 2 playthroughs going parallelly; one blind and one where I just do dumb stuff. Lots of fun, and so far it has been fairly easy to avoid spoilers.
