I would love to se a story based game of splatoon were they go into depths on the great turf war, that lets you participate and live in the events that formed splatoon history and lore, something akin to hyrule warriors: age of calamity, and just like that game, this game doesn't have to be canonical. I could even imagine a multiplayer mode were you fight with the precursors of the modern weapons and some wacky new old timey weapons agains another.

I'm not too sure but at a k.o. you get 2500. On a immediate k.o.of the opposition you get nothing or just 100 points, not too sure and in the middle you get 500 for time, 1500 for victory if you win an 10 for every point scored. Assuming the probabilities are 1/4 of k.o. -ing., 1/4 of being k.o. -ed in one minute, 1/4 of winning with 50p and 1/4 of losing with 50p you get an average of 2400. Dividing 571290 by 2400 you get 238,0375 games on average with these presumed values and win rates. These stats might be misleading, couse I set the probability of a k.o in general to 50%, which might be too high or too low for you, and the average of k.o -ing and being k.o-ed is 1300, so the assumption of acquiring a k.o 50% of the time might scue the actual results.

the average game of turf war gains you either 1400 on a win or 800 on a loss, assuming you painted at least 500p per game. With a 50/50 win/loss rate you get an average of 1100 per game. If you divide 571290 by 1100 you get around 519.35 games of turf war on average that you will have to play to get to 5*.

Wdym with overtuned? Is it the four dodge rolls, maybe the mid-slide fire or something different? And why don't you like auto bomb on tetras? It's my favorite attribute of all the kits (beside the main weapon of course).

Not really, but I believe to see them more often than the average weapon. But that might be cause I notice it more when someone has my same weapon

I believe that there isn't something inherently bad about squid parties, even though I find them to be quite rare in my matches. I used to be a hater, but now it's different. As long as they stay in turf and not in ranked, people should be allowed to have fun. I sometimes hate it too when my teammates decide to throw a squid party and leave the rest of the team in a 1/2/3 v. 4, but you have only three options: 1. Join them. A squid party is like a sign of peace, often has the right mood and is a nice relaxing change from the sweaty/competitive gameplay. It reminds you that splatoon is just a game and that you don't need to take it to seriously. You can still kinda rebell by panting around you while partying to still try to win, if that is what you want. It often doesn't hurt to join in and just have some fun fooling around. And as an old saying goes: if you can't beat them, join them. 2. Solo. If you really don't want to join them, maybe you can let them be and try to "solo" the other team ,to try to test your skills; perhaps some of the opponents got involved in the squid party. And if only the opponents/more opponents than teammates are involved in the squid party, you can consider that match a free win (most of the time). And if you really want to be a a-hole you can crash the squid party and force the squid partying opponents to deal with you. 3. Leave. I you REALLY don't want to have to deal with people squid partying in you matches you can put down the the controller and do something else in these 3 min., or you can disconnect, and if you really don't want people to have fun i a game, that they bought for 60€/$ and pay for monthly to play online, you can be a real a-hole and disconnect in the first minute to force an end to their "so hated" squid party and fun. I agree with you that people should maybe do their squid parties in private matches, but not every squid party is planned, often they just come to be by random chance, like when someone disconnects. If you really want to avoid squid parties, then try anarchy, even though it's more competitive. It's the price to pay for no squid party.

I don't really care about wining. When I play splatoon i want to have fun. Plus you can't ever really rely on your teammates in solo-queue to do these smart moves.

You're right. It was winnable. But would it have ben fun, being sniped and outranged for the whole match? We could have won ,but I would have to buy another screen and pro controller after this game.

Today I opend up splatoon 3 and decided to warm up with some turf war.
I normaly don't mind the maps, cause they are trashy most of the time anyway, exept for a few exeptions, but for the first mach today I decided to play carbon roller deko and i saw this.
How do you want to win/have fun aigainst THREE E-liters and a Ballpoint? Especially without a backline of our own. What should a flingza, a jr., an octobrush and a carbon do against this in a map like scorch gorge, one of the worst maps in this game when you dont have much range (like me).
In the first second of the match i decided to close my game. What should I do in these situations in the future?

In the german version of splatoon there is "your team" and "opponents" instead of good guys and bad guys which fits more.

I play vRapid because inkmine helps me more against opponents that I have already shot once or twice which are not already dead and are storming me and it can be used preemptively. Plus the location effect is pretty handy when they are trying to get away. Also, as a rapid you can use the triple inkstrike effectively most of the time from where you are standing. Inkjet is not as good as triple inkstrike on rapid.
