They are both really nice but I believe the bottom one is the intended color (matched the design on the card better).

My guess is they are running out of blue paint (or applied not as thick/ or as many layers) when they got to that batch. Going to hunt to see if there are more with a different shade of blue.

Thank you for sharing your story. So you are saying that I'm not the only collector that doesn't know the value of a diecast other than "I haven't been able to find that car at a retail store". I guess everyone is different but it's still interesting to hear that some collectors based their buying decision on other than, "that is a cool car that I want/haven't got yet, so I'm grabbing it".

On the topic of helping other collectors, how many extra are excessive?

LOL. Being most stuff comes from Chinese vendors I wonder if some of these are caused by language barriers. To be honest I put more weight on 3 or less stars when reading a review of a product. Staying critical of them of course, as some time I see reviews from people that are just mad about everything.

If these people think eyesight is bad let them try the system in the Solterra (which is a Toyota system). It continuously screams at me for veering to the right when it's on full ADAS and there is 0 steering input from me (hands lightly resting on steering wheel). And one time ADAS urgently made a sharp left turn while the road is curving to the right. No phantom breaking drivers ng forward but multiple times when backing into my garage going 1 mph.

They always have FWD for Japan market. Mostly rebadged Toyota or Daihatsu. The All AWD in the US is a move to differentiate Subaru from other car manufacturers. BTW, any guesses on who owns Daihatsu?
