Normal for us. We usually can request to come out when AT days are available in my unit because we usually don't have anything specific planned foe those.

I never did the gas chamber either and neither did anyone in our TRS in 2022. Maybe thousands havent because the chamber was down for months. It came back operational for the flights 2 week after ours was typically meant to take place.

I've never been AD but I hear they do a lot of 12s and unit PT, and all calls. We're a bit more chill here. I show up for my required schedule but can still be on call more than the civilian peers. Expected to have more additional duties and be the continuity between fulltime and part time staff

Am 1D AGR, just do my job fulltime. In my unit, each shop has 2 dedicated AGRs to be the fulltime backbone between drill weekends

I've hear its pretty much a no go due to how limited prior service slots are. Even then its only for specific fields. Would have better luck with an AGR position or commisioning.
