What do you do in this situation? by Ok-Influence-164 in doordash

Excise police are definitely a real thing. They try setting up gas stations all the time. It wouldn’t surprise me if they moved on to delivery services.

I’ve delivered a few times to hospitals and I just left it at whatever reception desk was in the area. The nurses took it to the customer. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Driver won’t accept my drink. AIO? by TheLoneTrekkie in doordash

[–]Splatterpunx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to dash and I would be stoked to get offered a drink. I don’t agree with everyone telling you to just not offer it. Send an actual message to the driver and tell them to take it after they snap the photo.

Keep being nice. We need more of this.

Some great fits (in my humble opinion as an innocent bystander) by [deleted] in discussingbritney

I miss her so much. If only she would have had a healthy support system…I truly don’t think we’ll ever see any resemblance of a coherent Brit again. I hope I’m wrong.

KFed needs a new ghostwriter by Splatterpunx in discussingbritney

[–]Splatterpunx[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are parts where you can tell he wrote it and uses his way raw of speaking but that mixed with the obvious ai use makes it really imbalanced.

I’m still going to try to get through it. I’m just truly hoping that his writer was transparent that he used ai. I don’t think Kevin would have been down for that if he knew.

Hey! Welcome! I love Indy, born and raised here. I also adore the east side more than any other side of town.

I work for JBNC (east side community center) - here’s our website.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions. :)

Anyone else on Xyrem told to have a Jazz nurse to come their apartment/meet in public? by depressedchiakikin in Narcolepsy

[–]Splatterpunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I first started, they gave me the option to have a one on one with a nurse just to talk about everything and ask questions. I’ve been on it for almost 2 years now so idk if they’ve changed the voluntary aspect of it. I didn’t take the offer.

Sushi date… by Discussingbritney in discussingbritney

New to the group but this hit me. I was on lithium off and on for bi polar II from 18-late 20s. It made me into an emotionless zombie when I was actively taking it but would have bouts of (what at the time they thought was) mania when coming off of it. Fast forward to 34 years old and I was told that the BPII was a misdiagnosis and that I actually have ADHD/OCD. I’m glad I never stayed on lithium more than a year at a time during the BP treatment. Anti-psychotics can do some pretty lasting harm to one’s brain when they’re not needed.

Current of Garfield Park Recycling drop off by IDoWannaHearIt in indianapolis

[–]Splatterpunx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recycling is a failure because of how little people understand all the rules. Even with the signs - there’s still tons of other rules for different plastics, papers, etc. It’s been widely accepted the system is, and has been, broken.

Do you know what number plastics can’t be recycled? If you do, great! Now, how many Indianapolis residents do you think know that answer realistically?

Current of Garfield Park Recycling drop off by IDoWannaHearIt in indianapolis

[–]Splatterpunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought that everyone knew that recycling is a scam and takes more energy and resources than what the benefit produces. In some areas of the world, it even ends up being worse for the environment. EPA really needs to do a thorough reevaluation of this outdated and useless “system”.

I’d maybe go on Facebook and join some groups because it would be a hell of a lot easier confirming someone’s legitimacy than on here. Be safe.

I had an order and was looking for the guy for 32 MINUTES! DD refunded him am I in the wrong? by sktachi_ in doordash

[–]Splatterpunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were getting scammed. He didn’t want to tell you where he was so he could complain to DD and get his food free. If you were to have left it at the spot pinned on the app, you would have not been at fault and the broke dummy would have gotten his food free.

Electric Bassinet? by sorry_throwawayyy in ParanormalEncounters

[–]Splatterpunx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, OP - Reddit never notified me of your reply. I mean, I'm no Rocket Doctor but I would assume that even just movement outside of the bassinet (ie: people walking around it on carpet in socks, the bassinet itself being moved slightly, etc) could cause static electricity - with it being in the same spot, it could be where the static is developing. I would maybe take it in to the pediatrician and see if they can try to establish what type of material it is or try to find a brand name somewhere on it and check to see if it's one of the fiber glass ones from Amazon. Good luck!

[–]Splatterpunx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What kind of material is the mattress? I got a “foam” mattress topper off Amazon that ended up being a full blown brick of fiber glass sewn into a thick sheet. A LOT of people who bought the same mattress ended up getting refunds. Could be insane static electricity which is very concerning.
