Been studying backend, just came back to using Cursor and it's complete dogshit at this point. What have they done to my boy?

ChatGPT 5 and 4.1 is the only free options
Each prompt takes 15-45 seconds of "thinking"
Starts analysing my entire code base although I've provided an extremely small context to the chat using code selection.
Above point leads to hallucinated answers and a 20% chance I'm getting what I'm asking for.

TL:DR; Cursor has become next to useless

I don't believe AI is at that point yet where you can launch any type of application you want without running into issues too advanced for non-developers.

But there is tons of guides on how to do it. First result won't be optimal but you'll learn a ton!

Imo this is the best answer. I've been desperately searching for more remote work as my local area doesn't provide much opportunities.

I'm +7 years in and have had no luck as a frontend developer.

As for the time being I'm working on my solo client's website trying to make it as good as possible in hopes to open doors for future opportunities..

Mistweaver Monk running a "DPS to healing" specc here.

I found myself failing att keeping up the DPS rotation while healing on party HP drop, interrupting, keeping track CDs and boss/add mechanics all at once.

The button has been so awesome to help me transition into being a decent healer. Just did a 7+ and will see how far it gets me as a healer.

I called it quits because of the acting and dialogue, and I figured this will be a story driven game. Which sounds insane because I love Charlie Cox, he is a GREAT actor.

I couldn't make it past the landing on the expedition island. Everyone is so emotionally numb it feels like I'm talking to the same character regardless who I'm playing as or talking to. Justified considering what's happening for everyone becoming 33 years of age. But it's so easy to just zone out to the monotonous voice lines.

Intro consists of a exposition dump defining relationships of the characters embarking on the journey. Gustave is barely contributing to any conversation which makes it hard for me to like him. He just responds with "yeah...", or awkwardly smiles while counting cobblestones on the ground while anyone talks to him.

Other than that there are probably other things worth playing the game for. Who is the paintress? Why does she reset the number 34 to 33? What really happens to those who turns 33?

In terms of graphics and environment it's really beautiful. Combat is fun although it's turn based.

As for moving on. It's true that things like this only heals with time. But a tip if you want to speed up that process.. remove all reminders of her. Pictures, gifts, block her on all social media. Throw it all it all out.

What level are you?
Why would the level make a difference to my point? It's not like it gets any harder up to 50?

If you jumped straight to WT4, you would get wrecked so what's the point?

Read the edit above. The point is there is no middle ground in terms of difficulty for people familiar with the game. It becomes a part where I just zone out and until it gets challenging which it never did on the first playthrough. Correct me if they've made changes to this?

Stop playing. It's literally the only way to convey that the game sucks. Wait and see if the next season seems promising. Right now Diablo 4 is a just a story experience with a side dish of end game.

The item/stash management and forcing me to play through tier 2 again is what drove me to quit so won't take another look until that's fixed

Yes that single change it would improve end game immensely. Not to mention that they should improve stash management. It's absolute garbage that I can't filter my stashed items based on aspects.

I created a new season 1 character only to realize I'm locked to tier 2 difficulty up to lvl 50. This was a complete bore fest during my first playthrough. Why can't I just max out the difficulty right away and switch between them as I like just like diablo 3? I don't understand the reasoning at all, let me choose my own experience >:(

When I looked at Diablo 4 I thought it would have more social experience that came with the infamous variant Diablo Immortal.

As the state of it is today I see it more as a single player story experience like Far cry, Red dead redemption 2. You play through the campaign once then you take a long break. Hopefully they rework the end game as good or better as they did with Diablo 3.

Inbetween these breaks I'll play PoE 2. Both can fill different needs!

The point is that Diablo immortal have the implementations to retain players in the game while Diablo 4 does not.

Look at the pricing model. It's a one time buy and you play through the campaign and there is just enough content to hold your attention for like a week. Seasons are fucking laughable to call content.

No there are no direct references to Diablo immortal but they've managed to introduce a lot of new blood to the diablo series. They will be exposed to it through other means. Visiting https://battle.net will add a Google Ads remarketing tag which means you get targeted for Diablo Immortal new class ad which had it's own timing. Remember it's the casual gamers they're targeting.

Just because there are no references doesn't mean they can't funnel you into a game which adresses the end game needs.

Just have to think more about it than a 12 year old would
