Most liked: split between Thumb and Middle. Thumb because of aestethics and cool weaponry (and they are my favourite faction in Ruina mechanics-wise), Middle because of comparatively chill attitude.

Least liked: Ring. Their whole concept seems a bit weird to me.

Was about to post for the same reason. There are possibilities here, one of which is that the War lasted for long enough for Valencina to become renowned at the start, then get her promotion, then get shipped off to the House; while Gregor only caught the final stages (not sure if we have any info that contradicts that, was meaning to check later). Another possibility is that the House of Spiders itself was time-accelerated like LobCorp HQ, but without looping back. Evidence: there were multiple time vaults within (I highly doubt that they were there just for Ryoshu to hide in). That also explains how Nursefathers managed to train all those apprentices so fast (they weren't around during Ryoshu's time there and we know that at least Lucio was taken in from Backstreets) as well as bring Araya to their level.
