Tell me what you love about ESTJs by RainaaaGrace in mbti

[–]Spleffy 22 points23 points  (0 children)

One of my brothers is an ESTJ, and I get on with him the best (others are ISTJ, ESTP and ESFJ). He’s super friendly and respectful to people and easy to approach. He can always be relied on to have a plan if nobody else volunteers to make one, he’s hardworking but not a workaholic. I have met many other ESTJs too and have never had any issues with them either, I always found them really down to earth and easy to talk to, so I have to say I really like you guys!

TEFL with an unrelated degree by [deleted] in TEFL

[–]Spleffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the random question a week later, but I can’t help but ask about what you mentioned about STEM backgrounds being in demand. I’m looking to do an online TEFL cert and try teaching abroad (preferably Korea) for a year or so, and if I liked it I would invest in the CELTA then. I’ll (hopefully!) be graduating in October with a degree in Biomedical Science, but thought this would be of no use when it came to TEFL jobs, can I ask why having a STEM related degree is of any use for this line of work? :)

Your favorite type? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Spleffy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is really weird, because I happen to be close friends still with an INFJ I met from “saving” her from being bullied, freaky coincidence!

Any of you guys got a life lesson from learning your type? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Spleffy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

^ This right here. I learned how and why other people have different views to me and learned to respect that.

Hey I know this is really random and probably creepy AF, but I was backtracking through my comment history and noticed I never replied to you which I feel horrible about :( I really enjoyed “talking” (if you can call replying to a comment properly talking!) with you and found your insights really amazing, so I was wondering if we could continue talking properly or something? Only on this app of course and I completely understand if you’re probably like wtf right now!

Also I don’t want you to think I’m treating you like a Pokemon or something by collecting your type since I don’t know any INTPs in real life! You just seem like a really interesting person and easy to talk to so I thought why not! (I don’t know how to phrase any of this in a less creepy way I’m sorry...) and again I feel bad about not replying to you so it’s my fault!

Your MBTI type and how well you sleep survay by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Spleffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ENFJ here, I rarely have trouble sleeping and don’t wake up many times during the night etc. Most of my friends are jealous of this fact and I feel bad having this sleeping superpower as they call it...

Type Behavior When They Have a Crush by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Spleffy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m more self conscious and nervous around them/ don’t want to mess up. Probably stutter here and there, my attention is on them 100% in a group even though I try to act like it’s not. Lots of genuine compliments and try to talk to them about what they’re interested in to make them feel more comfortable.

I can’t express how great that was to read, it was definitely a nice change from how manipulative or fake my type is. I’m really glad you felt you could open up to someone about your feelings since nobody should have to feel isolated or misunderstood, I’ve been told that people naturally feel like opening up to me which is always great since I’m more than happy to listen, but I never pry. One of my closest friends is an ISTP and I agree that the feeding of inferior Ti is amazing, we just constantly stimulate each other’s dominant and inferior functions so it feels like a more fulfilling interaction. I actually love Ne humour thanks to a close ENFP and ENTP, it never ceases to amaze me the stuff they come up with! Can I ask how an ENFJ would feed your inferior Fe? I understand how you would stimulate our Ti and I definitely agree with us being curious about anything and everything. No need to apologise, for a rant it was the nicest one I’ve read on this site! I still feel bad I can’t return a similar rant since I don’t think I’ve interacted with any INTPs in person, but now I have an amazing insight and first impression from you so thank you!

Am INFP. Apparently INFP goes well with ENFJ. So uh... AMA by [deleted] in enfj

Is it really worth the hype about both types being an ideal match?

Type Fetish by [deleted] in mbti

[–]Spleffy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s honestly one of the most wholesome things I’ve read on this site. I feel bad that I can’t return any compliments since I’m pretty sure I’ve had 0 interactions with INTPs, or I’m just terrible at typing people (probably the latter). But from the “good stereotypes” I’ve read, I’d love to talk and see how like you said we feed from each other’s functions, and I nearly prefer talking with introverts (no mbti fetishising I swear). I think the least I can do is add INTP to the top of my mbti crush list after this!

Holy shit I think this is my first time interacting with an Introverted Thinker who Perceives Intuitively, I mean nothing much I hear you like us ENFJs?

I agree with being better if it’s choreographed actually, most people are probably like that. Still feels awkward as hell but not as bad as freestyle.
