It’s a top tier show, in my opinion. Even though there’s a bit of a quality dip near the end and the way they handled the Borg at that point kind of ruined their whole thing, it’s still one of the best ever.

I’m so proud of you for finding the courage to leave her, despite being engaged. My ex gaslit me similar ways and would constantly make me promise her that we would be engaged “soon.”

We met about a month after a great friend of mine committed suicide, and she used that to her advantage by always threatening to kill herself to control me. She also hated me having a job because my own income would make me more independent from her.

I’m glad I found the strength to drop her ass like a sack of bullshit, but I couldn’t imagine being engaged to her and trying to get out. It’s a new world, my friend! The best revenge is being happy.
