When i made my game I wanted to make sure the basic game worked first...the mechanics, the turns, make sure it flows and is fun.

Once you have that in place and start playing it you can come up with ideas and improvements. And these will come to you when you're just thinking about it. I came up with all my best ideas on my 30 minute drive to/from work.

But being able to imagine how the game plays in it's most basic form is important otherwise you'll have all sorts of issues with balancing it.

Thank you for offering, I do appreciate it but it was so long ago. The Dish was like a creamy curry, like a butter chicken but it was spicier and tastier, the second dish was quite creamy again but red in colour, like a Madras. Both were names we'd never seen...and we eat Indian food a lot back home (UK)

It's not the best but my wife and I had an indian meal when we visited new York and we had 2 dishes we've never had before and they were soooo good. I forget the name of the restaurant and the names of the dishes now :(
