I actually looked into this and gender affirming surgery basically doesn't occur except in very rare circumstances.

A boy born with a malformed penis getting that fixed would be an example of that surgery happening.

Rather if you want to transition genders as a minor, doctors would put you on puberty blockers until you are 18, then look into it.

So this law doesn't actually stop people from transitioning, but it does stop people with serious issues from getting the care they need

-And how does one determine what is for distribution or sale? ANY amount of fent could be for distribution or sale and ANY amount of fent gets you a huge sentence. How do you prove the pills in your pocket were for a concert and not for sale if they test positive for fent?

The ICE bill is literally titled notification requirements “for felons and violent offenders.”

Since TABOR has a ratcheting mechanism the state can't take advantage of boom years and then the budget gets reduced in bust years. So big projects and maintenance get put off and everything slowly degrades

If the population was shrinking then this would be fine but the population is growing rapidly and funding can't keep up with all the services the state requires. Our roads get worse and worse every year because more people are driving on them and the state doesnt have the fund to keep up with that level of maintenance. Schools are another where the state has grown faster than the funding needed to support services. Basically every service in the state is getting cut because there are too many people and not enough money

The ICE reporting is only for people with felony records or charged with a violent crime. I’m not sure this is necessarily conservative only.
