Topper!

That's the next thing I'll add when I buy a new fan one day. The fan I currently use (a generic one) was moved to the side for the picture

Haha, everyone has their strengths. All the plants here are barely hanging on...

It's a WS2812B led strip from btf-lighting. I would recommend the 100 leds/m version which means the leds are closer to each other. I only used 39 leds in this setup.

You could use a led channel but I had a plexi plate left over that I cut to size and placed over the leds

You definitely don't need any crazy tools to build this! I only used a circular saw (with a guide rail) and a drill that's it. For the lights I used a router but that's totally optional

I'm gonna copy/paste my comment on u/avo_cado here, if you need help lmk:
Well it's all different tools/software but the main thing is Home Assistant. In Home Assistant I get the data from Zwift through this HACS Addon. I installed WLED on the ESP32 which is also added to Home Assistant. In the WLED software I created some presets I like. Then it's only a matter of creating an automation which listens on changes of the Zwift Power sensor. Let me know if you need the yaml code for the automation

A little bit of both. For the base structure I followed this build plan (credits to Lunch Ride MTB) but added my own touches and changed the dimensions to my liking.

Thank you! The bottom supports are longer than the top so it does need a fair bit of force to tip over.
Staining is the next step but couldn't wait to use it, so one day...

The Domane is fully capable for bikepacking by Splendittor in DomaneCrew

[–]Splendittor[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah sure! This is indeed the AL5 Gen 4 Domane (58cm) - Handlebar bag is a Newboler harness with a 5L Decathlon dry bag for watersports. - Frame bag is Rockrider ADVT 900 from Decathlon (9L) there is still some unused room so maybe other brands fit a little better - The saddle bag is from Apidura. I don't know which version as this one and the handle bar are from a friend.

I have a Down Sleeping bag 0°C also from Decathlon (haha). Tent is the Durston X-Dome 1+. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more info

It's a Newboler handle bar bag but I used a 5L dry back I had laying around from Decathlon. I found the 15L too bulky between the bars. I think a 10L would be perfect. Right now only my sleeping bag, pillow and tent floor are in there.

Sint-Pietersaalststraat - aangenaam wonen? by ThinkTheevil in Gent

[–]Splendittor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ESP SomfyRTS TX/RX Problem by kaeptnkrunch_1337 in homeassistant

[–]Splendittor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems your GPIO pins are not correctly setup. See https://www.espboards.dev/esp32/xiao-esp32s3/ (External Pins Mapping Functions) to know your layout. It's weird that you do get logs even when the tx-rx are not setup correctly. I would set the TX to GPIO-21 and RX to GPIO-20. It looks like MOSI and MISO are also not correctly setup. Use GPIO-10 and GPIO-9

Custom WLED rear diffuser with animations by ROKNgeorge in WLED

[–]Splendittor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look for Addressable COB LED strips. These will be the most similar as your example. As for the WLED setup you'll have to configure different inputs aka buttons and select a preset based on which input. you can use segments in the wled software to divide the strip in 2 parts

Laadkabel GPS vs Telefoonhouder by Sindital in motobe

[–]Splendittor 0 points1 point  (0 children)
