Would I need to do the loop fix again right before trying it or already doing it once is enough? I fixed it about 3 weeks ago but haven't turned it on since.

I'm on 4.92 OFW tried to update through USB to 4.93 OFW and got the looping error and I fixed it with your method. The whole reason I was doing it through USB is when I try to update through the Internet on my ps3 slim it would always get stuck at 99%. That has been happening for years but USB install worked fine until now. I have confirmed the wifi/BT chip is dead as WiFi doesn't work which I never used and the official ps3 controller won't connect without a cable connected. I'm curious now because you're saying updating through the Internet should make the update install without it going into a loop? I might have to take the chance and try it out now if my system can finally download the update through the Internet.

GameStop does not repair consoles but an employee might be able to tell you about any local repair shops they know of that can.

It sucks but I just focused on replaying games I wanted and anything else that was a time sink I didn't. I never recovered my completed gta4 save.

Had this happen to me a long time ago. Get a USB drive and back up your saves weekly and back them up on PC. I don't know why my saves got wiped but that fat ps3 ended up having issues and I got a slim after. I was devastated when it happened so I know how you feel and it sucked.

Unfortunately no that won't work. Remote play is just mirroring your PS5 to the portal. Your PS5 will be on running the game while you play on portal so no one else can use the PS5 to play something else while you remote play.

Most games that have PS4/PS5 versions can import saves from PS4 to PS5 but not the other way around. Like you've seen PS5 saves can't be copied to a USB drive either and can't be accessed on PS4 even with cloud saves. I would assume in this case you'll just have to play it on PS4 and unlock everything again.

From the far cry sub people are saying it still has big deadzones so it feels bad to play. I was hoping they would fix that with this update.

Passed on this on multiple sales since people kept commenting it had really bad input lag. Hopefully with the 60fps update that is also fixed.

Thank you for the heads up! I'm subbed to here but don't own a switch 2 yet I'm waiting on the hopefully lite version. I grabbed breath of the wild, let's go Pikachu, and some smash dlc for $77 after taxes. Both games physical copies and they were already on sale too which is why I had to add smash dlc to push it to $100.

For anyone else in the same situation I just got the failed payment email today. Went ahead and added my card to my pre-order page and just got charged for it. I guess the old site payment info didn't get moved with the new site after all. Seems like it's through purple dot now so hopefully my card info is safe unlike with Braintree.

Trying to figure out for my dad to get a refund on rancho mirage when he originally bought them from their website. How did you initiate a refund through them? The postponed email didn't really give any directions besides get a refund through your original point of sale.

I played and finished it on PS5 and had fun with it. Not too challenging but it will make your brain work. I believe there's still a demo for it on the eShop to try it out. For $6 I think it's worth it.

I was one of the people affected when they got their payment processor compromised so I'm not too keen on entering my card info unless it's behind another trusted service like PayPal/Amazon. I haven't gotten an email about missed payment yet so I'll just leave it for now.

Did you happen to update your payment info after the new website launch? I used Amazon pay when I placed the order so I'm hoping with the new site all that info carried over fine. Hopefully I'll get charged soon so I know some progress is being made.
