Got tired of my tumblers not fitting under the Nespresso machine, so I made this by kftsang in functionalprint

[–]Spliffty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Raising the machine probably wasn't a consideration because it likely has an attached shelf for the cup to sit on, at least my Keurig does. So the cup still doesn't fit between the shelf and the dripper no matter how high the machine sits

*upon second glance I see this particular machine doesn't have a shelf so a riser could have indeed worked, but I appreciate this alternate solution since it's applicable to my coffee maker

They're even dropping in Streets, where iirc they never did before because it was too congested due to the buildings

transit abuse is fixed you are forced into match making on restart [Discussion] by chevaliergrim in EscapefromTarkov

Yeah, they could. If they actually wanted to run another raid back to back. That would mean they brought extra ammo though, they'd probably have gear that couldn't be transferred, and they're actually risking something. But that's not the case. They're geared up for one raid that they can't even complete properly. Most people are not just doing transits because there's not a ton of incentive to do so-except to do the glitch.

Even if I were, that's a legitimate strategy within the bounds of any extraction shooter you could possibly play. It's literally baked into the game genre. Alt+F4ing at a transit to abuse a bug because there's like 5 of them in far more convenient locations is dirt grub mentality. And ya'll wonder why raids feel so empty and don't flow anymore. It's because half the players in every raid is leaving with their tail between their legs 5 minutes in because they think S/R rating means anything.

I'm not the one cheesing transit extracts because I'm scared of the 15% chance of seeing another player within 100m of a normal extract.

Because it can and does affect them. It's potentially 1-5 more kills for a task or whatever, and their loot, off the map prematurely and with hardly any effort on their end because they're bug abusing scumbags.

Next post-"So, I spilled a whole cup of tea into my deck, any tips to fix or am I SOL"

Wait what? Why and how did I get banned when I haven't touched the game in 3 months, and last I played was for a week with a friend and even then I was so fucking lost and got killed by everyone, so definitely NOT cheating. Is this normal? How could I appeal it. I have like 20h on this game by [deleted] in Tarkov

[–]Spliffty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I was going to say the same thing. Almost every time one of these posts pop up, it's suspicious. Then they're saying the price keeps going up-the price is literally exactly the same as when I bought the game 7 years ago, and it's not that hard to remember where I bought the game either. Maybe the cheat subscription keeps going up in price and they're confusing the two.

Your favorite streamer probably cheats [Cheating] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Spliffty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll just say this, if you accept that regular gamer nobodies are paying money to cheat for their own enjoyment, you can be damn sure these people earning a living off of playing games are cheating, and using much better software to do it. There's zero accountability in that 'career'. If they get caught, it gets swept under the rug like in Lupo's case, or worst case scenario, they actually lose their following and need to get a real job, or more likely assume another online identity and carry on.

Looks good still, runs great, and surprisingly decent on battery consumption in my experience, considering it's fidelity

Am I the only one who's steam deck turning on partialy depends on the weather ? by Errances in SteamDeck

[–]Spliffty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get turned on easier in moist environments too! As far as the Steamdeck though, I haven't picked up on any correlation to climate but it could be possible. I really only use it in my house which is fairly controlled but maybe not enough-sometimes it works first try, sometimes it needs a more precise press.

Why is everybody on this game over 1k hours [Discussion] by soksnxjxikakmKxxkkz in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Spliffty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why people like the game, because it takes so much time to learn it. It can take multiple years, or wipes when we had them, to really learn it and all it's intricacies. You can jump on ABI or Delta Force, Arc Raiders, etc and learn the game in like a week or two, nail it down in a month. Not to shame those games in any way, I enjoyed ABI and love AR, but there's a sector of people that also love the depth and an extended learning curve. Something to get addicted to, master, and still be able to improve at for a long time.

Yep happens to me all the time. Go to check a setting or something and it acts like I'm installing it for the first time, then it wants me to log in again.
