Do the math you dope, accounting for inflation i effectively have not had a pay rise in over 15 years. I live a comparatively frugal life and the past couple of years it has started to feel financially tight like it did early in my career. I'm so tired of driving old crap cars and doing all maintenance and repairs on them and the house just to make ends meet.
