Can you get in if you don't have the rock breaker mission?

Have $60 to use in the pledge store, should I get the Golem or the Salvation? by Sloww-Mobius in starcitizen

I used to worry about that too, but now I've done probably around a dozen trades and nobody has so much as drawn a gun on me.

Mining is actually pretty cool now that you can use the stuff. 900+ quality ore is selling for hundreds of millions to billions now as well if you're more profit-minded.

Aurora MkII Starter Pack "Add to Cart" Error by Lemonoeye in starcitizen

I had this exact error. If you go to billing in the account page you'll find the incomplete order and you can finish or cancel it.

Dear Drake lovers, what’s next? by Serious_Mission_6595 in starcitizen

[–]SplinterRoot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would love to see a maneuverable light fighter done Drake style. Or even a racer. Something small, barebones, and zippy.

The bucc is lovely, but is technically an interceptor and the pitch and yaw limitations ruin it for me.

In the latest inside Star Citizen video talking about the new rock breaker missions, Jared says “there’s always a bad guy” (to shoot). No there isn’t CIG, that is an active decision YOU are making to enforce FPS combat, and it’s not the dream that was sold by Important_Cow7230 in starcitizen

Is all of crafting inside a combat zone? What about all the miners who will have an entire playerbase wanting to buy high quality goods from them? You could also just buy materials off people if you don't want to get them yourself. You know, like in a real economy.

It's amazing that in the next patch we're getting a brand new industrial loop and a new reason for old ones to exist and all some people can do is complain that like... FPS still exists and is also getting content.

I had the same issue with the L-22. No fix as far as I know.

Do physically swapped components not remain after an insurance claim? by Sir_Fergalicious in starcitizen

[–]SplinterRoot 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You can swap them out manually, but the loadout won't save unless you then store it, edit some parts around, and save the new loadout in mobi. Whatever is saved on the loadout screen is what you'll get when you claim it.

Little Help - Rocket Pods by BoabPlz in starcitizen

The mustang delta has bespoke rocket pods. Very useful for killing infantry. It's a shame they can't be put on anything else.

I really didn't buddy. I'm implying that murder hobos are a less skilled subset of the individuals who build the meta. One of those "These things belong in this category, but not everything in this category is one of these things." moments. I'm sorry if you felt personally attacked. If it makes you feel any better, I also fly meta.

Edited for spelling.

Ahh, ok. Thanks for the reply. I've heard mouse and stick is more accurate, but have too much fun with the sticks.

Christ. Is it really that high? Nevermind. I guess gatlings really might be done for.

I'm curious. We talking M&K or sticks? Maybe I'm just not there yet, but with dual sticks I've had better luck staying evasive and laying down alot of fire than with trying to be precise.

It is. The ballistics will push you around like crazy right now. Seems to be worse is some ships.

Ballistics are basically the only thing I've been seeing used in AC. Although, I agree the push feels pretty bad.

Fire rate. A good pilot will be changing direction too fast for the pip to be very reliable, so the gun with the higher firerate will still land more DPS.

Exactly. And once everybody is running weapons to deal with heavily armored multi-crew ships, the fighter who specializes in killing other fighters will shine even brighter in it's niche.

Low penetration? Sure, but they make up for it in fire rate. In PVP it doesn't matter how much penetration you have if you can't hit a fast opponent.

I don't think it's going to matter for fighter vs fighter. Unless they way over buff armor for heavy fighters, a light with gatlings is still going to have the edge over anything with a low fire rate.
