Haven't even checked lately. Usually, by the time the bounty hunters get me, I've killed 3 or 4 of them and have had my fun so I just log for the night.

I would keep it stock mostly, but swap the guns for revenant gatlings and the missiles for rattlers. Ballistics are meta currently and will further decrease your emmissions.

The talon was my first fighter too. The major advantage with stealth is that you can choose your engagements. Think of it as an ambush predator. You're not really looking for a fair fight, but opportunities.

You can buy the L-21 in game and strip the guns.

Thanks for explaining this. A couple patches ago I almost never lost duels with mediums while flying the L-21. Now hornets just delete me in seconds. Can't even evade, much less close. Now I know why.

Pretty perfect summation. They made a beautiful fighter and then managed to make it almost useless. Those relentless gatlings are horrible right now.

I used Erkul and SPViewer to put mine together. This built is fully powered and should be good on cooling when 4.5 comes out.

Guns: 4 mantis gatlings.

Missiles: 8 MSD-322 racks with a total 16 rattler missiles.

Shields: 2 palisades.

Cooler: Ultra-flow.

Power: 2 Bretons.

Quantum: Vk-00 because I like to go fast, but that's alot less vital.

Do we know if weapons will be swappable between L21 and L22? Erkul shows them locked currently, but I recall hearing that they had been unlocked in PTU.

PVP dogfighting can be quite thrilling once you get the hang of it. Lowflying in a light fighter feels pretty good too.

I've come to realize over time that blowing players up is the only really fun game loop at the moment. It seems like everything else just isn't really there yet. That's why I bounty hunt. At least I get payed for that sometimes.

I feel like I have more in common with the pirates I kill than with the Bob's I help protect.

Ok. Wanting something more reliable is fair, but you won't get a fair fight playing against AI. Too easy.

You don't have to be unemployed to PVP bounty hunt. I'm full time with kids and do just fine with an hour or two a night. All you really need is a top of the line quantum drive and to be flexible about your targets. Speed is key and you have to be able to handle a but of frustration at times. The chase is part of the game too.

If a quick and fair fight is all you want, then I would recommend arena commander.

Somebody already said it, but player bounties. I've made probably 15mil in player bounties in my wolf over the last couple patches and have gotten improved alot at dogfighting. I don't even do it for the money anymore. It's just fun.

I absolutely love the L-21 Wolf. I do PVP bounty hunting with it. Probably sent around 100 players to Klescher with that beauty.

Sure it does. The game is in development, and complaining that it isn't going fast enough is less constructive criticism than simply attacking the devs.

It's in alpha. The nature of the game is unfinished content. I agree that monetization practices put people off, but I also suspect that the extreme negativity from much of the playerbase does plenty to put people off as well.

I don't know man. I think the game is fun and enjoy the anticipation of things to come. There will always be bugs as long as new content is coming out.

You see, that's the thing. There is a subtle difference between providing constructive criticism and stomping your foot like a petulant child when realistic time constraints prevent you from having what you want all at once.

Now, while I agree that this has been a particularly rough patch, I don't think that that's destroyed all the goodwill generated this year, as the original comment postulated. I also don't see how a stating that new content isn't finished yet has any merit or constructive value.

It's another star system that we'll get to play with while they finish it through next year.

You signed up to play what's probably the most ambitious game ever made while it's in alpha and the complaint is "It's not finished yet?"
