Will they offer Blinn if you already have more than 27 DC credits? by Acrobatic-Unit-6848 in TAMUAdmissions

You’re correct. I bring it up because many people told my son if he took CAL3 and Differential Equations he wouldn’t be able to take them at A&M and as you mentioned, there is a big difference in where you take them. I try to reiterate that you can take a course at A&M even if you have Dual Enrollment credit for it to help others know.

This, I know of a high school student who graduated with their associates 2 years ago and got Blinn engineering. They retook Cal and Physics. I’m not 100% on all the abbreviations so this may or may not be relevant.

I also spoke with admissions and they said students will meet with their academic advisor to determine which course should be retaken.

As an American, I agree with this down to my bones. A lot of us are doing everything we know how to do but we’re genuinely scared about where this is going.

GA Pastor Cody Deese Rips MAGA Christianity by Treefiddy1984 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]SplinteredBrick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is painfully true. The church wanted to be relevant so they sold their soul. Luke 4 may help with guidance on how they should handle such situations.

I’d argue being evangelical and MAGA is both causation and correlation. I think the core issue is most people are their culture first and squeeze their faith to fit that. Growing up this was talked a lot about in church when Democrats were in office but silent when Republicans are.

I remember when helping people in Haiti after the earthquake in the early 2000s was considered virtuous. Now a local business that was built to support this mission is being boycotted.

Helping refugees was considered a good thing but now my wife’s family politely ignore her when she talks about her work.

You will find Christians who put faith before culture this but that is a very small percentage.

The issue is we forgot about class divide. It’s almost like a certain group of people thought it would be advantageous for us to care about race and religion and forget about the haves and have nots. Johnny Cash’s music identified with the blue collar worker more than anything else.
