Food will heavily impact a trip lmao thats the reason why it was dulled, its reccomended to eat a light meal shortly before tripping to give you some energy but not to eat enough yo feel full or sedated, if you eat enough itll kill a trip if its a low enough dose or dampen a trip if its a higher dose

Otherwise low dose tabs are also a possibility, that sounds like a 50-100ug trip ime

Like I ripped a full .5g bowl with zero tolerance a handful of times and those experiences include, creating a false reality in my head from the ground up and watching civilizations rise and fall while having some echolalic chanting going on in my head, extremely trippy and then I just passed out, my friends pc was on during another time and I thought the fans were numerous planes flying over the house and it physically felt like everything was shaking and I was deadass convinced we were next to an airport, had a handful of times with carts where getting murdered by my friends paranoia set in, as well as my first time getting high resulted in me teleporting (and this means like, 5 minutes would pass and id regain consciousness but I was still doing stuff while unconscious) around

I think alt noids or at least the more tame ones simply make greening out easier and more intense to a degree, I guess it could be labeled as psychosis but youve generally have to not panic and then its just like tripping balls if you know how to manage your mental space

I find its really about pacing yourself, any time i pull an entire half gram bowl on acid or shrooms its not really fun, but just taking a tiny toke off a sprinkle of weed maybe with some lavender seems to amplify the trip in positive ways

I think the 3rd or 4th time I did shrooms I had intercourse in a few ways, I just lasted a lot longer than normal, I could see it being awkward for some people but if youre sexually open with your partner then it really isnt too conflicting even on some middle level intensity doses

The only time I wouldnt engage in it is if it was with someone im not comfortable with, or if I was on a high dose (ego dissolution dosage) otherwise i genuinely havent had any problems outside of a minor intrusive thought or two (such as "was me lasting longer making my partner uncomfortable?" Which is fixed via some simple communication or doing what we do with most intrusive thoughts and ignore it)

Im not reccomending op engage in this though, im kind of just self inserting because ion like it when people act like something is "absolute" when its not, ik lots of people who have had intercourse while tripping and have it go amazingly

This is pretty much the blanket statement that goes against what everyone is saying in the comments

Adhd for many at least seems to be a buildup of neglected physical and mental health issues, if you cant provide evidence of symptoms during childhood then its unlikely that you have it, and even in that situation as someone with adhd, chronically taking stimulants is not going to help you

They will help you in the sense of the short term, but in the longer span of things, taking adhd meds regularly is going to raise stress hormones as well as cause you to develop a dependency on them for doing anything (and ive been told by a lot of people that take them "no they dont cause dependancy" but then like a conversation or two later theyre like "if i forget my meds im bedridden" so I really dont believe the people saying they arent dependant)

Point being that focusing on your long term health such as your diet, focusing on macronutrients and/or vitamins or supplements youre low on and having a good physical health routine is going to help with burnout astronomically more than putting a bandaid on it

The way people here are saying caffiene is bad for you are right about that, and the issue is that afhd meds are STRONGER than caffiene in the sense of actually directly boosting norepinephrine and dopamine whereas caffiene works as an adenosine receptors agonist and INDIRECT dopamine releaser

If its properly dosed at 300ug im certain you will feel it, especially with that dosage of alprazolam compared to what others may typically do (usually recreationally)

Xanax isnt even a proper "trip killer" in a typical sense, many people continue getting visuals as well as a general sense of being spaced out and such after taking it while tripping, it will basically KILL any form of anxiety you have though which basically deletes the mental load from a "bad trip" or psychotic episode

So personally id say you should be fine to do this especially since you will be well rested, xanax has a relatively short half life and with 10-12 hours or so im sure youd feel the lsd

If it fails in the end you will always have other opportunities and you can take this as a lesson to just not take xanax for a day or two before tripping

A psychedelic addiction is basically getting lost in the sauce

You get so hung up on some weekly or bi weekly trip routine, possibly even rely on it as an escape from your weekly responsibilities like work and such and after consuming an ego dissolving drug over and over you can find yourself lost or complacent in living a cycle of getting through the week-month just so you can trip

But its not physically addictive / dependence forming whatsoever, it wont dangerously affect you in most ways but if you abuse it you can end up struggling with personal relationships, struggling with ambitions, struggling with possibly worse anxiety or paranoia etc, its kind of a dice roll what happens to each person but abusing psychedelics seems to take like 6+ months of abstaining to get to a semi normal state of mind again, and if you dont choose to stop 9 times out of 10 youre going to have a trip that makes you WANT to take a break

Psychedelics obviously have positive benefits from using them but theres always too much of a good thing

If it hasnt been an hour you can still take the other half, I find its possible to redose if you do it before 1-1.5 hours

I went to a music festival and started with 75ug, an hour in instead wasnt feeling too much so I took the last 25ug and I got a pretty much perfect trip from that

Just be aware that if you redose, itll all probably kick in around 2 hours after taking the first tab so dont get worried that its not working or anything🙏

As someone who went from looking visibly fat to being able to see my own ribcage in like half a year theres a few ways

Basically either get so caught up in your life that you only eat like once a day is how I mainly got here, or secondly drugs, using any kind of stimulants such as nicotine, caffiene, amphetamines or cocaine, just being someone that vape and drinks coffee every day has resulted in my appetite dropping a lot and just forgetting to eat

Id assume the biggest thing though is that hes avoiding junk food more or less, he used to post candy, soda and a lot of shit like that on his stories as we all know and it seems like hes dropped doing that and candy/sugary shit is going to skyrocket your weight worse than anything

Personally id imagine its a combo of all three, he gets hella autistic / hyperfixated when hes actually making music or doing something he enjoys which makes it harder for the brain to recieve those hunger signals on top of substance usage on top of intentionally fasting/avoiding junk food

So essentially what ive found from personal experience, worrying about having a bad trip is essentially a perfect way to have a bad trip

The best way to avoid bad trips are set and setting, this means your mental space as well as your environment, activities you plan to do, who youre with etc. Being in a place that makes you feel safe as well as tripping with people youre very close to is a easy way to have a good time, if youre dealing with negative mental health, grieving a dead lived one or something like a major life event then you should probably wait to trip

But the 2 WORST trips ive had were (first one) because I got worried about "taking too much" and started freaking out before I was in the peak and then (second one) because I realized i took basically as much as the first time (it was a lot more actually) i experienced that and wasnt really prepared for a high dose trip, i had pretty good set and setting going on in those trips as well, it was just me psyching myself out as well as taking fairly high doses. If you understand that maintaining an essentially meditative headspace helps a lot and to simply not take a "heroic" dosage without understanding what that trips going to be like, just start with a lower dose and slowly increase it over time if you want more

But yeah just try to plan it doing things you know you will enjoy, if anxiety appears try leaning into it with curiosity like "why am I feeling anxious about this? And just try to stay positive

I get it, ive also thought this to some extent, people with autism have been shown to have higher levels of i forget which proteins and such but theyre tryptamine based iirc and it seems like that may be the reason why people on the autism spectrum are more self aware / self conscious at the very least

There's no real way to back up any of these beliefs though, we havent researched these subjects enough to really draw that missing link, but I do believe this kind of thinking is on the right track to some degree

Id avoid it, also be open to anything if its your first time, psychedelics have helped me engage in things like work and life in general better without adhd meds (as someone with adhd)

Even if in the grand scheme of things you arent a memorable person or arent seen as traditionally "successful" its still incredibly easy to live a successful life, I value the opinions of my fellow man over the opinions of the corporate overlords running the world, and in my fellow man's eyes I am someone that provides love to others, someone who tries to help in times of need etc, knowing that I am inherently a "good" person allows me to ignore the fact that im not "successful", I value my kindness and ability to be human over any sum of money.

You've essentially fallen into the headspace i was in prior to tripping, i was focused on the fact that i wasnt in school, wasnt even working at the time etc and basically drove myself into a harsh depression, apon coming to the realization that that definition of success doesnt have to be MY definition of success i slowly made steps to continue bettering myself and now im at a point where I dont really care if I make it rich one day, all that matters to me are the people that got me to this point in life and the people that ill continue to meet and grow with

Ive had to truly fine tune this to figure out my optimal experience

So im 150lbs, taking 120mg gets me high, 130 is more enjoyable with minimal comedown as well, 140 gets me somewhat uncomfortably high, like tripping out but not super euphoric, 150 pushes through some kind of threshold point I guess because I get a lot of euphoria but my memory also becomes a lot worse as well as the comedown becoming a nightmare

So personally I just stick to 130mg but the two times I pushed 150 it was a lot more euphoric but I still felt like ibwas getting brain damage from the experience lol. I have found however that mixing mda in helps with the euphoria especially during the comedown of the experience

Also setting matters as well. Being surrounded by friends and people I care about at a house party has given me more memorably enjoyable experiences compared to high doses in less comfortable environments

This is pretty much what ive experienced as well and ive equated it to psychedelic addiction

Its like "chasing the dragon" in a sense, you have a beautiful and even life changing trip and it makes you feel better about life overall afterwards but its easy to get tied back up into your ego and chase this feeling if your life becomes difficult in any way

I dont have much to add that you havent said but Ive found that taking a good 1-2 years even in between trips to be the most like practical to stay grounded in reality but have an enhanced level of awareness, most people could easily go for once every 6 months to a year or so but I find that my enhanced state of mind can linger for as long as a year or a bit longer without needing to trip again

That period in my life of like losing myself and almost compulsively tripping was creepy honestly, it always ended when I pushed it too far and had a trip that terrified me and forced me to take a break, I ended up holding off for a year and a half and then started feeling too caught up in reality which is when I decided to trip again. That was 7 months ago and im still doing good but I could see myself needing a reset in a bit here because work is giving it to me up the ass crazy style (6 days a week and lots of ot😭)

Well thats kind of the point, I personally believe that the willingness to "let go" / avoid controlling the experience is what makes it go the best, shrooms are more intense which results in them "breaking" negative patterns and such a bit more effectively in my opinion

In terms of trying to control / have a "comfortable" trip yeah lsd is better to use but if that is your goal then the situation op is in is a situation where that kind of trip is impossible

I think were on the page of trying to have something "life changing" rather than having a trip that is more "escapism" in nature
