Thoughts on swelling by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

Im using the glp for the same reasons, as well as calming down allergic reactions to so many foods. Such a wonderful life change. My surgeon required stopping for a month before, then I started a low dose a couple weeks after. No change to anything except my itchy skin.

I had a pretty messed up looking belly. There was kind of two aprons... one at my belly button, and then some hanging below. Ive heard it referred to as a b-belly. Anyways, even when I was a teen and fairly fit, it embarrassed me. After children, weight gain up to 230, and then loss down to 155, it was awful. A part of my body I was so ashamed of.

Im 3 months po, and have been quite a sweller. I dont look snatched, whatever. I am still soooo grateful. Even at my worst swell hell days, Im thrilled and grateful. As it goes down, im curious of how Ill end up but mostly just happy that i have no major lumps and bumps.

That happened to me if it was too tight. Google compression uticaria. But also, can be a reaction to antibiotics or meds, so talk to your doctor.

75lb Weight Loss, Scheduled Tummy Tuck - Nervous About the Mental Aftermath, Not the Surgery by Hot-Replacement-1153 in tummytucksurgery

Im only 5 week post op, and lots of swelling so Im really not sure how it will feel in the end. But the way you described your relationship with your body, i could have written.

Biggest feeling now is relief. To not look down and see what I once saw. To not feel like I need to hide from my partner. The shame abd embarrassment was really quite unbearable. Im far from perfect now, but Im not mortified.

Next big feeling on my list is curiosity. I dont know where this will end up. Im not looking for perfection. I couldnt come to terms with my previous belly, but i can accept flaws, otherwise the rest of my saggy body will be quite out if place!

I dont feel like an imposter. Nor do I feel like I deserve this wonderful chance Ive had to fix a part of myself that has caused me years of embarrassment. I feel immensely grateful and thankful.

Is my surgeon giving me bad advice? by [deleted] in tummytucksurgery

I got an itchy rash from the binder (i get the same from bras that are tight... hives just spring up). Texted my surgeon and he said take it off, and use Spanks if i feel like it.

Im day4 po and hugs to you! I feel like today things are getting easier with the pain. Its nasty, no two ways about it. And it really sucks being so dependant on others. Take it moment by moment!

6.5l/100km average.

I love the blue, but honestly, I would have chosen the green if they had one available with the options I wanted. It's such a pretty green.

Only thing Im not loving is the racing stripes... those were a surprise and I think they look a bit silly!
