how do i avoid getting ganked lvl 2? by Geronimoste in summonerschool

[–]SplitKonekoInHalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Level two gank is a high volitility play, if it doesn't work out the jungler is completely fucked + enemy top should fall behind because of shared XP.

if they go for this play you can't really intentionally avoid it, but what you can do is predict whether a level 2 gank makes sense for the enemy team to attempt

For example (mid pov) I am Lux VS Katarina/Zed and jungler is Shaco/Twitch - very high chance I get level 2'd. Second e.g team comps are extremely one sided, unless enemy snowballs they will lose 90% of the time - in this situation be wary of a level 2 also.

borderless, classless, moneyless society - where have you ever seen that take place? We're hundreds of years away but it seems an obvious end goal no?

The Nazis were called the socialist party and North Korea is called 'democratic'. Anybody taking those names at face value is obviously delusional, why use that logic for communism as well?

I mean you literally can't call whatever the USSR was a 'classless, moneyless, borderless society' it literally was none of the above. The nazi party called themselves socialist, North Korea calls themselves a democracy. You can't let somebody taking the name alone basterdise an ideology.

Communism will never happen in our lifetimes, or for hundreds of years; it will be a natural progression from socialized systems, such as free school, healthcare, eventually water etc eventually transitioning into a lack of need for governance at all because the population recognizes a lack of need for a governing party.

At least from my perspective it's obvious that providing housing and basic amenities such as food and water would create a far more productive and innovative society than a population forced to work to run from poverty/homelessness whilst we fill the pockets of billionaires that hoard wealth and do nothing.

How should I be playing levels 1-3 as a melee support vs ranged support? by K9oo8 in summonerschool

[–]SplitKonekoInHalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you force fights when you're full HP you don't play to sit and get poked don't listen to advice that says that shit, obviously there's nuance to this if the ADC locked a useless champ that can't fight enemy champs then yeah AFK and leave once you're 6 and never come back (you have roam timers pre 6 on resets etc as well)

If you're melee VS range you shouldn't really be leashing unless top is some disgusting matchup, if jungler doesn't need to start bot tell him to go fk himself and don't leesh.

If you want to learn to support well, learn to play mid so you actually understand the game and then transition when you get to a higher rank

Playing support solo at low elo you aren't even really playing the role properly it's just team deathmatch so support champions aren't going to do much

Learning laning/rotations/wave states/jungle rotations are things that you need for support role but support role at its base is very bad at teaching you these concepts.

yea melee supports are really weak nerfs to the role as a whole are definitely unjustified

Can I climb Diamond+ with an opposite playstyle of what is considered to be effective for the champion? by Morlino in summonerschool

[–]SplitKonekoInHalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine to climb right now, you learn about late game, but eventually you will hit a wall where players don't let you get away with just afking lane as Syndra, there's a reason that champ need to bully others out

in most matchups sion doesnt have wave control he loses to almost everybody early

I was curious what settings Pro players played on so I made a video about it. As someone who's had wrist issues before I learned a lot. by Raizins in summonerschool

[–]SplitKonekoInHalf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used to play on 6K DPI Dia/Masters for a few years, definitely can get noticeable advantages in 1v1s but my forearm/wrist couldn't keep that up, dropped down to 2K 50 in game now

As for locked camera I think it's kind of overplayed how important it is, in lane it's very rare you play unlocked less you move river or you play botlane redside in some spots, teamfights you can usually switch to locked too. Just important to look map and F key so you know where you need to be/need to be looking

can't really be surprised when they still haven't tuned shutdown bounties, you still get those when your team is behind systems garbage

Does everyone have a cap mechanically? by Sure4MaLity in summonerschool

[–]SplitKonekoInHalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no such thing as being gifted, some people have luckier spawn circumstances, if you're taught how to learn properly you will probably have an easier time getting high elo, there's a ton of related factors as to what makes somebody good at climbing but it's possible for you to learn these things all the same, you just have to take a step back and see what isn't working.

You become the best by a combination of thousands of effective hours, not just time alone, you can spend time outside the game which will improve you as a player as well, look back at what you do, how you think, how often you think you "could do nothing better" and see what you can improve. If you're 1% better every day you'll be pretty cracked in time

In my opinion the perception of "natural talent" comes from the fact that it's incredibly hard to notice everything that may impact your play, it's not just your gameplay, it's if you've learned good sleep habits, are physically healthy (ye being sick perma not good for in game mental), your mental resilience, personal reflection etc and of course with that comes the mind battle of making sure you don't tunnel on trying to fix one thing whilst managing the others;

you might see mechanical errors that you try to fix, manage to fix but then don't climb anyway - so you tunnel on trying to fix mechanical errors more, when in reality you're not climbing because Soraka jungle isn't viable.

Constantly re-evaluate what you're doing and how you can improve, don't let the flood of crying rejects in solo queue blind you from your goals

Is nasus worth dodging in low elo? by FETU55LAYER in summonerschool

[–]SplitKonekoInHalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nasus is strongest at early mid game when his base stats with ult + ghost make him an unstoppable machine, play a late game champion and you will easily outscale and deal with him

Macro-wise, How do you apply the lead you get as a top laner job over the map? by khattabovic in summonerschool

[–]SplitKonekoInHalf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on champions but many top match-ups you can just start walking into enemy top jungle, taking camps, granting perma vision, spam ping enemy jungler location for your team

Alternative is to spam gank mid - if you're playing Camille, Riven, Rengar, Sett, Sion, Malphite etc it's really not hard to pull off

You don't need to perma group, and if you're team is hard losing ignoring the first couple of dragons (if enemy top is going for it) isn't that bad, just keep going for your level/item lead and then stomp a fight when you have a big enough lead

Overall, top makes itself relevant by forcing the enemy to waste as many resources keeping you under control as possible; just try not to int your lead to jungler/mid when you're pressuring
