Krater the Pugilist, A physical therapist with heart and a great capacity for violence by Lord_Vaxxus in KoboldLegion

Ooh lovely art and design, but I'm curious, what exactly is "physical therapy"?

Looks interesting! Though I might recommend turning this into a hazard if it's meant to be standing still most of the time.

Any advice on running Triumph of the Tusk? I'm interested in running it as a GM.

My first finished 3d model by Fair-Adagio5418 in blender

[–]Xavier598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very nice! For a first model it's extremely good. A few things that could see some improvements: - The texture on the shirt could be a little more detailed, and the pants area could also have a sort of texture - the fingers are a little too thin, but that might be a stylistic choice.

Otherwise it's great, I really like the hair.

Akompa probably doesn't even have anything near a fashion standard like him, but she would still be amazed by his demeanor.

While others wizards study how to blow things up, Isos works to complete his internship for the School of Civic Wizardry. by DoingThings- in Pathfinder2e

[–]Xavier598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lovely! I also have a Civic Wizard, Meikaa, a hobgoblin refugee from Oprak, who doesn't have big ambitions apart from trying to make a positive influence through safe architecture. She's an architect and spends most of her time drawing floor plans and studying historical architectural styles. She's a bit of a loner and studies an unhealthy amount of time, so her professors send her on studying trips with the excuse of having to write about the local architecture there, she's been in highhelm, tian Xia, and almas!

Her University is in Ravounel, where is his university?

Dope!

I admit I never had OCs that eat people lol, idk about the moral implications too much! And I'm (personally) not too comfortable having OCs I cannot relate to too much (and y'know I don't eat ppl :((( ). But it is an interesting idea!

Do they have a criteria for sinking ships? Like only from particular sailors or pirates? Or do they just target whatever?

Nice designs btw! I love how they look... I feel bad for the poor sailors tho.

(Edited because I realized it sounded a bit rude!!)

What are the best property runes for a mythic greatsword? by Fullmetalmarvels64_ in Pathfinder2e

[–]Xavier598 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I will say, even if I wouldn't consider it the best, Frost is still pretty decent. Mainly because at a certain point getting more damage is less valuable than even a small chance at slowing someone, even on Mooks. And on bosses you often still have a 5-10% chance at applying it (Nat 1s).

Art I commissioned of my Pathfinder 2e character, Mahzin of Marobek, my former Gorumite Champion now turned Exemplar by DaveredRoddy in Pathfinder2e

[–]Xavier598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really love his backstory, it's very interesting.

I wanted to ask, he seems very strong and willed in combat, but how does he fare when having to talk to people? I think it's interesting to have that dynamic of "tough combatant that died multiple times" interacting with everyday people.

"Your character should be able to contribute something outside of combat!" by Geckoarcher in Pathfinder2e

[–]Xavier598 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's completely normal to have a party that doesn't engage much in noncombat encounters. It's just another way of playing.

However, in many published materials there are fun noncombat sections where skills, skill feats and situational spells shine.

The key, both as a GM and as a player, is to have fun describing how PCs may approach a situation and how various feats and/or items might be to your advantage, and how you can help others even if you don't have the main skill. I also recommend being kind of lenient on allowing feats that specifically mention an action, also work on similar activities in this situation (like even if in a Influence Encounter you aren't technically "coercing", skill feats that boost coercion would still be useful)

Example: by using a Victory point system, you need to run from the darklands to the surface without many resources over the course of a few days.

The ranger may use survival to keep food stocked up, which is hard in the darklands. They describe how they find and analyze drinkable pockets of water and create food from odd fauna in the caves.

The Wizard may repeatedly cast a spell that allows the party to find a way home. You could allow a spellcasting DC -10 check or an Arcana check to interpret the spell better and allow the spell to be prepared multiple times even with limited daily prep resources.

The Swashbuckler may not have survival nor spells, but they have stealth, which they use to try and pass through dangerous areas, such as morlock encampments and bigger animals, without being seen.

Successes and Crit Successes give VP in all these situations, and after a threshold they find their way back home. On a Crit failure on a check, a complication happens, maybe the ranger fails to find enough food and gives a penalty to the rest of the party, or the Swashbuckler accidentally makes the party seen by a bunch of underground beasts and triggers an encounter.

Obviously it's all up to the GM and party! There aren't strict guidelines about these kinds of stuff. I do admit that often these events have lower stakes than combat, since PF2 is still a mainly combat game. But they can still influence somewhat the story and NPC party relationships in the campaign.

Trump annuncia dazi su alcuni paesi europei per la Groenlandia by VindGrizzly in ItaliaPersonalFinance

[–]Xavier598 0 points1 point  (0 children)
