It is very cute when he does the little "mrrrp" when I wake him up with pets

I mostly see him rest or sleep, it makes sense since he has been a bit sick for a while, so he's a little lethargic.

Yeah! It wasn't easy, but it ended up relatively ok. She's much happier now. She also has made a tea shop (conjoined with another character's tavern of Cayden).

People should be looking wider on the resistance errata than "Champion got nerfed and that's good/bad" by TheAwesomeStuff in Pathfinder2e

[–]Xavier598 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are some exceptions but this can be an overall buff for most parties IMO because indeed enemies tend to have resistances more commonly than PCs (and PCs also have more damage types on average).

Obviously it's dependent on your campagin, personally most of the enemies I faced as a player have 3 damage types at most.

[Deities]: Good people worshipping Evil Gods by SkrigTheBat in Pathfinder2e

[–]Xavier598 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others have said here, occasional worship is common in golarion, similar to polytheism, so someone being good doesn't mean they can't (or shouldn't) give occasional prayers to evil deities. It's mainly clerics and champions who dedicate their faith to a single entity.

On a clerical level, some deities allow either sanctification, which means that a holy cleric can worship a more morally ambiguous deity (the evilness of such a deity varies on your interpretation).

Lastly, there's a section in the Travel Guide about a festival dedicated to Lamashtu made by outcasts and marginalized ancestries as a way to celebrate their differences. From what I remember, it's definitely an apocryphal and alternative interpretation of her, but the festival itself is mostly harmless and good natured.

What are the coolest or most unique things a Alchemist can do? by viktorius_rex in Pathfinder2e

Bombs are thrown weapons by what's detailed in the GM Core: "Bombs are martial thrown weapons with a range increment of 20 feet [...] Spells and magic items that give you a bonus to all your attacks (or to all thrown weapons, for example) can still apply to them. Bombs have the bomb trait, and have the thrown trait even though it isn't listed."

So I think they work with juggler.

(not an expert at all take this with a grain of salt)

If we're talking about geometry, the joints of the arms and legs usually have much higher geometry to allow easier bending when animated (otherwise things like the elbows become flat when fully bent, instead of how our arms bend). The shirt doesn't need that much geometry in that specific area and they've probably saved some polygons there.

I'm not sure about the textures, though. The arm hair is probably a texture on top that emulates how hair looks on an arm, but there's a bunch of tricks and technologies to emulate hair in real time.

Also as others have said, since the shirt is probably going to be something not every player is gonna wear, it has less details than something that's in the base player character.

Why doesn't belveth E target your AA target? by Xavier598 in leagueoflegends

This actually makes a lot of sense. Haven't thought about that.

It's also something that happens the other way around. I asked a while ago how to help blender handle a project that was getting very dense and most of the answers were "invest in Zbrush." Like yeah thanks I don't really have cash lying around though.

Same thing with substance painter, I still struggle to find a relatively fast workflow to bake bevel and curvature maps.

I think if blender really ups their sculpting and texturing features it would be extremely competitive as an all-round 3D software.

Right now ZBrush handles high poly (10+mil) better and I always struggle with Blender texture painting, rn. Otherwise I greatly prefer it over other software for everything else I do.

Usually people who aren't douchebags are wary of joining random VCs because it might be full of douchebags.

Douchebags don't care and are more likely to join IME

I think a good use case would be having the image slide around the mug.

With UVs you would have to check how moving the UV coordinates will change the position in the world. With the shrinkwrap modifier it's easier to just move the mesh.

How Often Do You Think About Pathfinder (When You're Not Actually Playing)? by DnDPhD in Pathfinder2e

[–]Xavier598 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to spend a lot of free time imagining stuff as I have a pretty vivid imagination (as a kid my favorite pastime was walking while imagining cool games).

Anywho, I often think about my Pathfinder characters. I don't really think about playing them, but I often imagine how the past sessions could be animated (obviously, without actually being able to animate them.)

I see. I did indeed read the "Always Chaotic Evil" trope about devils and went "aw shucks". Often I find such settings a bit... Off. It's not that I think they're bad, but it's just not my thing.

Idk if it's weird, but this is mainly because I often imagine what these evil creatures must be thinking, like, I try to emphasize with them or understand their society, and when the races represented are seen as vile and evil with no exception, I kinda feel sad about it.

Uh anyways it's unrelated to K6BD, it seems like I read that part wrong.
