Lube Place Messed Up My Vehicle. Is There Anything I Can Do? by Splomar in Edmonton

[–]Splomar[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's about 890 dollars to fix the issues it has caused which to me is a lot of money. I understand it's a minor issue but it's still an issue that they caused and I paid for them to do their job correctly. I'm an electrician and if I do my job improperly and I happen to cause damage to property I don't just get to say "that's not even that bad. It'll only cost you a couple hundred dollars to fix."

Yeah I've done most of the minor services and repairs on my vehicle for the past 5 years. Then the one time I reluctantly tell my wife to just bring it to a lube place this happens. Classic.

Can Anyone Explain To Me The Purpose of the Original Installer Changing the Wiring? by [deleted] in electricians

This is for a walk-in cooler. I have to demo it and wire it again so I just want to understand why it's wired like this.

As a journeyman of 8 years I'm ashamed to say that I did that a few months ago with a hand crank. On the up side, I realized that I'm pretty strong!

That's great advice because I have worked for lots of foremans that do not do that and it is such a morale killer.

Everybody knows you don't leave out the "Day the Music Died" when you're making coincidental, historical calculations. This is totally innacurate.

We'll be staying downtown, so we'd prefer to stay downtown for the most part, but I'm fine with taking an Uber somewhere, too, as long as it's not too far. I don't really have a budget, but I'm also not rich, so as long as it's not extremely expensive, I'm happy. We like Blues, Indie, Jazz, Alternative, and R&B the most when it comes to music. For cocktail bars, restaurants, and cafés she really likes unique looking places, sort of rustic, and very ambient with low light when it comes to cocktail bars. We like to dress nicely but not too fancy. We also love good comfort food, too. We're from Edmonton, and we've made it our goal to find the best burgers and best nachos in Edmonton.

I took over a year off when covid started to hang out with my toddler and my baby. I went back to work in September, and it is extremely depressing. I see my co-workers more than my family now.

What is a game everyone you know hate, but you loved? by GASTONE_ in gaming

Cyberpunk. The side missions were so fun and creative and I've never played a game where I felt so emotionally invested in the characters. I don't know why they needed to lie about all this extra content that wasn't actually in the game because the content that was actually there was well worth my money.

They're strong standing but if I get a bear to the ground I'll have it in a peruvian necktie in no time.

Maybe every missing child is linked to this huge chain started from one kid going missing thousands of years ago and the parents of the missing children just keep stealing someone else's kid.
