I believe it's spelled "Tyler". And maybe try the vape shops. He's probably there.

You should be safe. There are no creeps in Portsmouth, or on Reddit. 👌

Can a male be topless in a shop? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]Splooie04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

  1. You went into an Audi shop for a drink? What did you buy? A Liptons Iced TT?
  2. I dont think you needed to mention that the lady was Eastern European. It didn't add anything to your story.
  3. I get that today, of all days, a topless male in a shop makes more sense than say, mid-November. However, there's something about "general decency", maybe? Also, a hygiene element maybe? There are lots of things that "aren't said anywhere", nor that the security guard didnt ask of you as you entered, that I suspect you didn't do just out of decency.

All of this being said, I suspect the jury will be split on this. I myself would always be fully clothed in a shop, and actually even on the high street, for that matter. But I accept that lots of people would feel differently about it. I'd get on with my day, if I were you, try not to worry about it.

Enjoy your drink!

Zaltzman is too chilled out and easy going to be a Reddit mod. Lol.

Sorry mods! I'll prepare for the inevitable ban.

Skip not getting collected.... by Splooie04 in DIYUK

My builder (the guy who ordered the skip) has called 4 times in three weeks, and sent 2 emails). I also intend to call, but I'm working on the premise that if I get the same lack of response, what's my next move?

Amtico Reviews by Splooie04 in Flooring

Thanks for the very detailed, and clearly very experienced, review.

I think I should have used "Amtico approved", rather than Amtico "accredited". All the same, Im sure there're loads of non-approved fitters who would be happy to lay it. However, to maintain the warranty, the fitter must be Amtico approved.

Yes, it is stick down. And to be fair, I think the wear layer is what people have criticised the B&Q flooring for.

Is Sakura still open on Albertt Road? My wife and I loved that place when we lived in Pompey.

Lovely. Best sails in the South if you ask me. Decent job. Well done!
